“I've been going here for quite some time but my experience the last couple of times recently took my cat to possibly have put to sleep, I'd like his opinion first, but when I arrived it looked a little busy but was told to have a seat and wait for a room and nothing else and I waited for 35 minutes or so but don't think I should have wait that long to get in a room and it's not seeming very friendly here anymore and I also called today Sunday while they were open and put me on hold for 10 minutes I'm just so disappointed that I can't get any kind of service from them and my mother also used to come to pet expert but passed away last month so not having much luck with this business I'm giving 5 stars dr. Alex came to my house on Sunday after he worked at the clinic and we made a plan moving ahead and my cat is doing good so far there are good days and bad but so far not bad”

“We travel 30 min each way to this vet. I cannot say enough good about them. Dr Frank is to the point and never has thrown stuff our way that is not in the best interest of our fur babies. I’ve gone here for 3 years and as long as I have a fur baby I will continue with them.”
“My 3 dogs arrived for potential intoxication Saturday evening Labor Day weekend. One was cleared fairly quickly, two were hospitalized. One not only had to be treated for intoxication but also pancreatitis and spent 3-1/2 days in the hospital. All 3 are doing well thanks to the ER team at Mount Dora Vet Hospital. I am grateful beyond words that all my dogs survived and are doing very well. Not only was the team skilled, they were patient, kind and compassionate.”

Munchkin, our 11 year old special needs shih tzu, had cervical slot surgery in 2021. She recovered well but it was during lockdowns and we didn't have follow up therapy.
After a 2nd cervical slot surgery in Aug 2023 Munchkin wasn't recovering as well as the first surgery. We did physical therapy and were told we should try acupuncture for her recovery.
We brought Munchkin to Dr Cassidy..
The staff was friendly, the facility was comfortable and clean. Dr Cassidy was wonderful.. Munchkin has been to multiple vets, specialists, emergency rooms, hospitals, and surgical centers in Puerto Rico & Florida. It is rare to find a doctor who understands such complex medical history and is able to put the pieces together and offer solid solutions.
Dr Cassidy has done several acupuncture sessions with Munchkin in the past 2 months and we have seen miraculous results. Munchkin has had significant reduction in pain and inflammation. She has had increased movement and over all higher quality of life. It's wonderful to see her happy and active again.
Each session, Dr. Cassity takes her time to explain why she's doing certain things. What her expectations are, what to look for positive and negative and is always interested to hear our feedback.
She has stayed longer than she's had to in order for us to communicate our concerns or to share ideas and things to try for Munchkins overall health.
We also brought our 3 cats for their well. check ups. Dr. Cassity gave them thorough exams and was wonderful with each one of the cats. She pays attention to details. Makes recommendations. Is no nonsense. She remembers what was discussed in previous visits. This is refreshing.
I wish we had lived in the area and found Dr. Cassity 10 years ago. She has been the missing puzzle piece in Munchkin's care. I honestly believe we could've avoided the 2nd surgery if we had seen Dr. Cassidy after the 1st surgery. We are thrilled with the care she and her staff have provided and highly recommend her.

On 2/14/2017 my minipin needed emergency surgery and my vet at the time said they wouldn't see him. I brought him in the morning (after being referred by a friend) they would normally close at 7 p.m. at that time but they STAYED until midnight on Valentine's Day.
12 hours to try and save my baby and for that I'll be forever grateful.
I now trust them without question to look over my furbabies. My current girl has had issues for years, many surgeries, endless procedures, and medications. Thank you ALL so much through the years!”
“I went to the lake veterinary clinic to have my cat established as a new patient since we had moved into the area. Front desk people were very nice and so was the doctor. They helped ease my nerves and straightened out when vaccinces would be needed next. My cat even got a toy for being a good girl! It's nice I can call ahead and ask for her monthly preventative meds, they're much cheaper than Chewy.”

“1st set of Dr & Staff were Great but the second set and pharmacy staff play to many games. The 2nd staff made a comment that the 1st Dr. made a mistake with prescription but 1st Dr knew less than 1/2lb would not make a difference but allowed pharmacy to demand License Dr. Explain Herself. Awful follow up vaccine. I was forced to be there 3 1/2 hours for them to get it right.”

They do have a great selection here and I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, there was a steady flow of traffic so can't understand the poor rating its seems a few of the negative reviews are reactive and were maybe written prior to following up and allowing corporate to help resolve their issue. I will definitely return here when in the area if I need to grab a few items.”
