“Lake Vet Clinic is fabulous. I would recommend them to anyone. The only criticism I have for them is that they don't make appointments. It makes a visit to the clinic a long process. Having said that, please understand that the vets are awesome, the staff very kind, considerate, and caring. This clinic is one I will continue to patronize because I, and they, truly care about my pet. “North Orange Animal Hospital is AWESOME.They have been our vet for nine years. Family owned, family run, & family oriented. Having them take care of a total of two large dogs and four cats over the years has been an absolute pleasure. Not only are they deeply concerned for the health, wellbeing, longevity, comfort, and happiness of our furry family members, but they are very reasonably priced. They don't run unnecessary tests or prescribe unnecessary meds just to make more profit like some other vets we've had. From the days of Covid, they have a system set up allowing you to stay in your car while they take your pet(s) in and bring them back out to you. The vet will come out to your car to talk to you about their findings and recommendations. If you prefer to go inside with your pet(s), that option is also available. I could go on and on, but just know that they are fantastic and our pets love them, too. ❤️”

“MOST AMAZING PLACE!!! My mom spent so much money and time trying to figure out what was wrong with her baby all year long. No one could figure it out. I told my mom to visit Palmetto since they have been great with my baby. She drove up from Orlando, and finally, after almost a year, they found out what exactly what was wrong. We can finally have peace of mind and treat the issue. I want to thank this amazing place for being there for our family. The staff is just so kind and friendly. The doctors are out of this world. They are knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and understanding. They actually listen to you. You can feel that they love what they do. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you to all!!!”

“Extremely sad that my dog had to be put to sleep but also extremely thankful for this clinic. I made an online appointment Sunday night to take Toby Monday afternoon. At 8 am they were calling me concerned about his condition and offered to take him right away. He was not a patient before but it did not matter, all they wanted was to help him. Their fee was reasonable and they waited for my daughter to get there to start the procedure. I had called one vet clinic that told me the wait for a sick dog was 2 weeks. Thanks to the VCA hospital Toby did not have to suffer for 2 weeks on a waiting list.”

“There are at least a dozen vets closer to me, but the 25-30 minute drive is more than worth it. They are kind, knowledgeable, and getting an appointment is rarely an issue. Dr. Rick is both calming and caring; he treats the animals with gentle affection. He is also extremely patient and answers questions without making you feel inept. Dr. Rick's pet-side/bed-side manner is professional and warm--it should actually serve as an optimal example for more human doctors. Additionally, Park Avenue affordable. I had been to previous vets that seemed to price gouge and make you feel guilty--that has never happened at Park Avenue. I'm glad my neighbor recommended Dr. Rick and Park Avenue. This is the best I have ever felt about a vet, and I know my dogs will be in good hands.”
“This is the very best Veterinarian I’ve ever been to. Through the years I’ve had many pets and experienced many types of care for my animals. None compared to this office and its staff. Not only is he experienced but he is very kind and relatable. I never feel like a bother to him or any of the staff members. They all are knowledgeable and genuinely working hard to provide the best care and services. My dog has been here for her shots, checkups, and had her ears cropped here as well. He did a phenomenal job! I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a vet who genuinely cares for your pets.”

“My first experience with the son of lake county's belovedSR. Dr. Merritt-very positive experience (the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree). I brought my little fur baby there this morning with possible leg, hip or back injury. Where some could've taken advantage of my layperson's knowledge and ordered multiple tests, he was quite honest and thorough with his exam and diagnosis. He prescribed a mild doggie nsaid, that kept my expenses lower and health of the baby in mind too. Very pleased, and we'll be back!”
“We have used Hilltop Equine approximately eight years. The veterinarians, Drs. Gretchen Nelson and Lori Gifford, are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They readily explain what they are doing and why. They are always on time for appointments or call if running late. They arrive quickly for emergencies. They take a personal interest in our horses and are genuinely concerned about their welfare. Kerry, their Office Manager, is an experienced horse woman and is very knowledgeable and helpful. We could not be more pleased with the service and excellent care these folks provide for our horses.”
“I recently moved back to Lake County and needed a vet for my 15 year old chihuahua. I called 3 other places before contacting TAH. The first place was booked until December, the 2nd wanted to do a thorough examination of my dogs history before taking him on as a client and the third put me on a very long hold on the phone. When I finally called TAH, it was an immediate relief. The staff was polite and thorough and they could see my dog the next day. The day of my exam, my dog was seen at the promised time. The employees at the desk were super polite and respectful. Dr. Blackwell stole the show with what was the most thorough exam I've ever seen my dog get in 15 years. I could not believe how attentive and approachable the doctor was. I highly recommend Tavares Animal Hospital. I personally live in Eustis and drive by several closer hospitals and it's worth it. “They were very gentle with my baby girl and the room they gave us to say goodbye in was very nice and comforting. I did have to call them to find out my baby was ready but that’s no big deal. They were fast and even gave me a free ink paw print because how bad I was crying and that meant everything to me. Definitely recommend, they were amazing.”
