3135 Hwy 17, Zolfo Springs“I was staying with some friends in Zolfo Springs and unless you have been here there are not very many businesses here because this is like a bedroom community. So this business is one of the most frequently visited by anyone and everyone. But they have nice helpful employees and their always willing to help a stranger.”

The only negative is the parking is a bit tight. This location was a converted HESS station and is slightly different that their normal footprint but it's a GREAT place to stop.”

“Zolfo Springs is the packing headquarters of the Mancini Foods company. Founded in New Britain CT in 1922 and marketed from there, the base is here where there is a longer growing season. Antonio Mancini established Mancini Packing Company in 1922. It grew out of a neighborhood Italian grocery that he ran with his wife Margherita. I've been using Mancini products for years but more so lately as I move more into a keto diet. Their sweet roasted peppers are amazing but they also prepare fried cayenne peppers, and fried onions. Oh, my. You'll find their products are mostly sold in glass jars. This dates back to the impact of World War II on metal for tin cans. But they still do it in glass. The company is still family managed - Richard is Antonio's grandson and is the current President and CEO. [Review 13366 overall, 684 of 2020.]”
