I don’t know what kind of sorcery Supermercado La Villa is running, but somehow I walked in for “one thing” and left with a bags full of stuff I didn’t know I needed. I’m honestly a little offended it took me this long to find this place. 10/10, will absolutely keep “accidentally” spending money here.”

“Owned by south Louisiana people. If that doesn’t tell you what you need to know then you just don’t know food! Incredible quality. Really enjoyed mawmaws smoked chicken and andouille gumbo. Had a great wagyu strip from here, and my dog LOVES the marrow bones. She refuses kroger pig ears now that she’s had the good stuff.”

“The first time i came here i wasn’t too sure. I had the chicken breast plate with rice and beans, the chicken was so flavorful and you can tell they marinate the chicken a day before. The beans are home made, not from a can. The rice was okay.
I then tried their popusas & the best one was beans and cheese (frijol con queso). This was 10/10
The tortas are bomb hut my favorite meat is pastor! Hands down soooo well seasoned and not too crispy,cooked to perfection! 10/10 this is a hidden gem.
Lastly, look in their small cooler for the frozen chocolate strawberries, it’s the perfect dessert !”

“Came in, got some prime top sirloin, American wagyu top sirloin, and some sweet potatoes. Cooked up the American wagyu when I got home, delicious!
Staff were very nice and helpful, as well. Will be returning for my protein needs.”
