My daughter recently attempted to deposit cash at the drive-thru ATM outside the Chase Bank branch on Mars Hill Road. The machine accepted the money, displayed an error message saying “Sorry, ATM is not working,” and failed to credit her account or return the cash.
When we visited the branch to report the issue, the manager was unfortunately on vacation. The staff informed us that it could take up to 10 business days for a provisional credit while they investigate, as the ATM is serviced by an outside contractor.
This situation is frustrating and inconvenient—avoid using the outdoor/drive-thru ATM at this location. How is up to 10 business days acceptable time frame to get the money?

Walked into two different locations to open a business account, only to be told I’ll need any appointment to do so. I was the only person at both locations and workers were chatting away as if I didn’t exist. Needless to say this was all the sign I needed to stay clear. Felt very unwelcoming at both locations. I’ll put my money where it’s appropriate

Jija Gopal provided outstanding customer service during our visit. She took the time to clearly explain all of the checking account options and helped us choose the one best suited to our needs. Jija was thorough, patient, and made sure every detail was covered, including setting up our account correctly for online access. Her professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Chase limited my business bank account to only process sales up to $500/week. Nobody can explain why and nothing is able to be done for 90 days. Yet, they have no problem taking any amount of money from my account… What a joke.

I was doxxed by Chase Bank. $3000 went missing from my private account. NOW, they continuously harass me about owing them $400 when my accounts have never been in the negative. For some reason, the Branch Manger told me to come down there every day and they would allow me to withdraw $350/a day bc they couldn't figure out how much money was actually in my account. I have given them my information several times and they haven't tried to contact me nor rectify the situation. I would not bank at this bank if you are a person of color.

Please do not go to this location if you are African descent or African-American, with dark skin tones I came to this location to open up a business account with my personal name the banker jija gopal. Feed me with lies because she didn’t know what she was doing so she wanted a lot of verification that was unnecessary to open up the account. Which I confirmed with other banks, that all that was unnecessary please stay away from this, Chase Bank they feed you with lies and we’ll waste your time

It is extremely rare to find employees who take ownership of problems these days. Terry at the Mars Hill branch is one of those people. You should do whatever you can to keep him-promote him or pay him more. He continuously exceeds expectations and always solves our problem. He IS the reason we keep our business with your company.

I received wonderful customer service here while opening a CD, opening a savings account, and getting a document notarized. It was even near the end of the day. I love banking with Chase in general, and wish this was my local branch.

They are super-scrutinizing with cash deposits. I made one and it felt like they were going to require a DNA sample, 7-panel, and proof of my family's lineageI also had a business and would use them to order cash/coin as my registers would need such, there were times the bankers never called me back!I deposited $2 bills that were brand spanking new even came out of shrink wrap, and the teller made a scene as to them being fake..really?
