The Goodwill West Acworth donation center accepts gently used clothing, books, furniture, computers, and all kinds of other household items. Proceeds from donations help generate revenue to fulfill Goodwill of North Georgia's mission in helping put people to work and support the local community. Many visitors find the staff extremely helpful and polite, and some praise their engaging and welcoming attitude. However, the parking situation is highly stressful, as the lot is usually full and there are only 2‑3 goodwill designated parking spaces. Some customers feel the staff can be stand‑offish and that it is hard to donate. Others recommend the Woodstock Goodwill with a drive‑thru drop‑off.
