Bola has cut my hair many times at the Butler Creek location in Acworth. She is wonderful! She has never disappointed me throughout all the times I have been to Great Clips. Their prices for services are very reasonable. Great Clips will occasionally provide coupons for reductions in their prices. Also, they offer a senior citizens' discount. I think you will be pleased to take advantage of the services Great Clips offer. All the personnel at that location are very friendly, knowledgeable, and take pride in their work. I am sure they would do a great job for you also. Call them or check-in online. You will be glad you did!

Been going here for years. My kids, my husband, and myself always have great service. Hubby and daughter have fine things straight hair. Myself and my son have thick curly hair. They take care of us all and never let us down.

I brought my three kids here about two weeks ago for basic trims. One of my sons, who doesn’t even care about his hair, is so embarrassed by his haircut that he’s been wearing a hat ever since, and honestly, I’m not surprised. I didn’t know his hair could even be messed up that badly. It’s really, really awful.
One of my boys wanted a fade, actually, but the barber said she didn’t have the equipment for that (?!).
My daughter’s trim isn’t even straight. The stylist spent all of about 2 minutes working on it before sending her out.
Will not be returning or recommending. Very frustrated and disappointed.

I’m always welcomed to the Acworth location and haven’t had to wait for a long time, like some other places in Cartersville, where I live! So I travel south to Acworth!

I would say that my visit was slightly negative than neutral. The hair stylist was kind and welcoming, but took no time to look at the reference photos I brought up when asked what I'm getting today. I got a very straight bob first, so I had to verbally cue the cut through to make it under the jawline angle. And there's no hand mirror, so I couldn't see the back of the bob, but later my husband noticed that it's not very even in the back. It's not the worst and not that noticeable, so I guess you get what you pay for for $19. Must have happened when the razor cut the edge of my hair, even though I didn't move my head once and kept it tilted per instructions. Also, I was the only person that day in a place with two hairstylists.

We’ve visited this Great Clips on Cobb Parkway in Acworth a number of times in the past due to how close and convenient it is to our home, but unfortunately, our most recent experience over Labor Day weekend will be our last.
My daughter went in asking for a simple trim and curtain bangs—nothing too complicated. Instead, her hair was completely butchered. The stylist cut the front way too short, leaving it uneven and far from what she asked for. She left the salon in tears, and I had to fix the mess at home myself.
To make matters worse, my husband—who was with her—said the stylist he interacted with was extremely combative and dismissive. It felt like the whole staff just wanted to rush people through and didn’t care at all about quality or customer service. Very disappointing.
I truly hope this was just a one-off situation, but based on how it was handled, we won’t be returning.

I just got my son’s hair cut, and they would not accept the coupon I had. A couple of weeks ago, my husband went to this same location where they did accept it. I understand locations vary; however, it should be consistent. Very disappointed!

After years going to this place and loving the service. I received a haircut as usual and when I tried to use a coupon they said they would not take it, even though my wife used the same one several weeks before. I was like fine but as a veteran I asked for military discount they agreed. But my hair cut was way more than usual. When i inspected the receipt not only did they not give me the military discount they added a neck shave. They didn’t do anything but run a clipper on my neck for 5 seconds and charged me an extra $9 dollars. I called twice to the customer service but never heard back. I am done and feel like they cheated me. Going to find a new place to get a hair cut.

Can't rate on the cut, but they don't accept coupons below $10. I'd gone just to use a Great Clips coupon for an $8 cut for my daughter and they were nice about it but didn't accept the coupon. The location on Stilesoboro and Mars Hill did accept it.
