About United States Postal Service
The United States Postal Service located at 4915 N Main St in Acworth is a busy and essential post office serving both residential and business addresses. The staff at this location are generally helpful, efficient, and friendly, with employees like Dawn being praised for their thoroughness and positive attitude. Customers often find the service to be pleasant, especially when staff go out of their way to assist, such as hand cancelling wedding invitations or providing the correct postage. However, the location is frequently short staffed, leading to long lines and wait times, which can be inconvenient, especially since other nearby locations have stamp machines that help reduce wait times. The post office is actively recruiting for various positions, including mail and package delivery, truck driving, and processing plant roles. Despite occasional frustrations, such as the absence of a stamp machine and long lines, many customers appreciate the quality of service and the helpfulness of staff like the lady with short red hair and glasses. Overall, it is a vital facility with dedicated employees, though it faces challenges due to staffing shortages and limited self-service options.

Please stop putting boxes in the mail box that are too big. The trip to the porch isn't that far. About 10 seconds away.

This location is always busy and short staffed. Since the closure of other Acworth location, it has become a major inconvenience to go to this location during business hours to pick up our PO Box mail. Jessica is always helpful to get our mail for us.

Dawn Alred is such a delight when I visit my favorite post office! She cheers me up! Dawn is thorough and does an excellent job of her duties. Everyone should go to her because she makes the post office not a bummer. Dawn is an asset to the USPS!
