**Review: Chase Bank's Misleading $300 Checking Account Promotion**
I recently had a disappointing experience with Chase Bank regarding their $300 promotion for opening a new checking account and setting up a $500 direct deposit. While the offer initially seemed like a great incentive, the execution felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me frustrated and misled.
The promotion was advertised as a straightforward way to earn $300: open a new checking account, set up a direct deposit of at least $500, and receive the bonus. However, what the in-branch bankers failed to disclose was the requirement of a specific promotion code to qualify for the offer. This critical detail was buried in the fine print, and no one mentioned it during the account opening process. Had I known about the code, I would have ensured it was applied correctly.
When I realized the mistake and contacted Chase to rectify the situation, I was told they could not retroactively apply the promotion or honor the $300 bonus. This lack of flexibility and transparency is incredibly frustrating, especially when the oversight was due to their failure to communicate the terms clearly. It feels like Chase is more interested in attracting new customers with flashy promotions than in providing a positive and honest banking experience.
While Chase Bank has a strong reputation and a wide range of services, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I would caution anyone considering this promotion to read the fine print carefully and ensure they have the correct promotion code before opening an account. As for me, I’ll be thinking twice before trusting Chase with future promotions or banking needs.

Most unprofessional Chase that I have ever been to. I have been a Chase member for the last five years and went in today to close my account. The two ladies at the front desk seemed clueless on how to do that, and the one helping me kept asking her coworker clarifying questions every two seconds. The payment console wasn't working properly (I feel like a bank should be able to just replace that when it becomes faulty) so she had to manually look up my account. I had to pay the overdrawn balance before I could close my account, so I attempted to pay with another card. The tap was broken so I had to go to my car and get the physical card. I came back and the chip reader was still faulty (declined my card 3x even tho I had more than enough money on it to pay the overdrawn amount). I asked to swipe and they said that was broken too. Seriously unprofessional and a bad look to have such a faulty machine be a guests first impression. When I ended up not being able to complete the closing of my account, I wasn't offered a single apology and was instead rudely turned away from the front desk. It was only $2 overdrawn, surely after that whole fiasco, they could've offered just to waive the overdrawn amount and close my account. Glad I decided to end my membership so I never have to return to this location ever again.

I came to this bank to inquire about switching my business checking. I understand that I was just walking in however, the person in charge could care less that I have been sitting patiently waiting for 40mins just to get some questions answered. I walked in at 11:20am with cash in hand, they close at 2pm. I was told that I could not be serviced by the weird looking guy in a PROM suit!!!! The whole time I am literally listening chat with the teller about their Tik Tok and YouTube accounts!!!!!

Wanda and Omar were super kind and helpful. I've had no issues with my business account through Chase. They make it pretty streamlined to handle, which is nice! This location was clean, quiet, and nice. Employees were very accommodating!

I have been having a business account at this location since 2020.The service here has been pathetic since a last few times.This time i was trying to urgently fix something on business account to send ACH transfer to my vendors.I called 1800 number who directed me to work with the local branch.I called this branch 5 times in last two days. One time someone picked and promised to call back, which did not happen for 24 hrs.Today i called them 3 times, two times the call was hung up without saying a hello. Third time took me to vm. I drove to the branch i was told they are busy and wanted to go to next location without evening asking what my issue is.I was upset totallly and insisted that they must fix the issue today so that i can pay my vendors who have been waiting.Finally it was a matter of less than aminute that took an officer to fix it.Very poor customer service and empathy.

Unpleasant banking experience evey time! Teller is terrible at handling customers. Unfriendly. Tellers laugh each other while looking at the customer. I don’t understand how this is customer service. I will not visit this branch again. Now I know why thr reviews were poor for this branch.

Awful service. I spend more than 7 hours to reach security department (for my credit card approval), and I failed, nobody takes a phone. I try to withit chase office personally, but they failed to help, only phone calls. I not need your phones, use e-mail, it's 21 century!!!!!

The check cashing policy that was told to me was not the same as the information online. I feel as though I was discriminated against. The teller declined cashing my check without verification if the funds were available in the payees account and/or verifying my identity. I’m very disappointed with the service at this bank.
