We have been customers for over 22 years with 6 lines. My daughter just moved to Chicago for school and we live in Georgia. I had to move my daughter’s line to another carrier because it facilitated her working with the other college students, the school recall system and the completion of her assignments. Verizon decided to play hardball with their long time loyal customer. They locked her phone and refused to open it even after numerous requests, payment of $1,102 for the phone since it had been issued (Free upgrade)to her less than 60 days, and 14 hours on the phone with their service/customer care people; initiating 4 official work request. Which they denied or ignored. My daughter alone in school in Chicago was without a phone for 22 days. Missed school assignments, had Covid, dog had a 17 inch operation and unable to maintain contact with Vet unless she physically carried him to Animal hospital, couldn’t not call us or anyone else for help!!! Because big and powerful Verizon wouldn’t unlock her phone after numerous promises to do it and extortion of over a thousand dollars from me as the said that if I paid for the phone they would unlock it. If Verizon is the only phone company left, I’ll use smoke signals. You are welcome Verizon for my 22 years as a loyal customer.

Don't fall for their promotions they are not honoring them. Spent 3 hours on the phone waiting for supervisor never showed up. Representative said i can keep waiting but he don't know when supervisor will be available. They charged us for the trade in that was supposed to be free. One thing they tell you in store and another when you call. What a shame

Getting TO HATE service with Verizon now. Have been a customer for 22 + yet the service has been sad. EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY TO GET THROUGH CORPORATE OFFICE, I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND. I call and get overseas. Once a representative answers they threaten you, bullied, or hung up on. Issue NEVER GETS RESOLVED, BILL GETS HIGHER WITH 0 EXPLANATION. AGAIN TRIED TO SPEAK WITH CORPORATE AND NO LUCK

Trying to reach someone in the corporate office! As a long time valued customer I find it very disrespectful and unprofessional for your store employees to charge me $40 dollars cash to transfer my phone information from my old phone to my new phone! Then when I call him out on it he admits he is pocketing the money! So therefore you have an “honest” theft working for you and a racist theft since he was also called out for ripping me off because I was white and he didn’t have a response to that! This store is off Centerville Hwy Snellville, Ga across from the QT. The guy that ripped me, your valued customer, off was a heavy set African American. Hopefully you as a corporate company can do something about this injustice!

Not really sure where to leave this review. I messaged with customer service but they said they were unable to get it to the employee’s supervisor but I think she deserves a pat on the back. Her service goes above and beyond and she was very knowledgeable about Verizon’s goods and services.I loved my call with Verizon today!! I always stress out before I have to call phone companies (because I am usually about to be spending a lot of money lol) but today I got the pleasure of speaking with Stephanie, this young lady was so nice and sweet and supportive it ended up being such a nice call and made my entire day.I did end up spending more money than I wanted lol but Stephanie made it wonderful. Thank you Stephanie! My new go-to Verizon guru!

You guys claim to be the best but your signal is literally bad everywhere I travel to. Just wanted to let you guys know that you lost a customer for your false advertisement and corporate lies. I pay way too much money to you guys every month and you don't even give me what I pay for. Stop claiming to be the best because you're not. Having my line removed ASAP.

Verizon wireless sucks!,all you guys do is screw people!,take advantage of senior citizens turning there service off for no reason,then demanding they make another payment!, even though payment was made the day before!, beware of Verizon wireless they will screw you with your clothes on!

I am currently a verizon customer with a current account. However, verizon has stated that I owe for a second device. I have been disputing this for over a year and submitted documents, including a police report. Verizon is still refusing to remove this from my credit report, so I will be filing a lawsuit in the morning. How do I have an active account and still owe for a device? I'm tired of being ridiculed, so I am going to let a lawyer decide.

Have been a customer for over 20 years! We noticed our most recent bill had removed our Military Discount. So my husband called and they mentioned a reverification, that we hadn't been notified about. We have never had to reverify status or we would have done it. Now they are charging us $80 when the discount is $40. We call and they tell us they periodically to verify but they don't notify. So typicall 45-60 you will lose your discount until they restart the discount 1-2 billing periods AFTER you verify. We got transferred to a supervisor who couldn't do math or tell us why $80 doesn't equal the $40 discount, why we were never notified, nothing came in the mail, email or any of the 4 cell phones but they notify us about everything else. Then they transfer us to the notification department for military verifications and they say they can't even see your account because they don't have access to view your bills. Verizon do better! Nice to see this is how you treat your Military service members and even worse jacking up invoices by $80 during the holidays with zero explanation, and the fact 4 different employees can't tell you either.

Returned an Xbox almost two months ago and still haven’t gotten a refund. Used the return label that came in the box. Everything showed tracked to the returns department and handed over November 8th. Up until last week that is, when suddenly Verizon says “the system says it hasn’t been returned” and the website tracking suddenly showed not received. Luckily I kept the tracking number, which still shows as delivered via UPS. These scammers have withheld a refund for going on 2 months. I’ve spoken to countless reps and two “supervisors” who BOTH promised to call me a few days later at a specified time, but failed to. Please avoid any and all services offered by this “business”.

I have been a customer of Verizon for 20+ years, with having up to 5 lines on my bill and purchasing ALL of our phones through them. Today I dropped them!!!!! They have stolen money from me by adding an insurance charge on my account for the last 31 months, without my permission! I brought this to their attention last June and was informed today that they are only reimbursing me for the last 6 months of charges. They collected $587.00 from me and only reimbursed me for $202.00 dollars. And, will not help me any further. The supervisor, Julianne was rude and told me it was my fault for not catching their error sooner. THIS is what is the matter with these greedy large corporations! They take advantage of every day consumers. Check your accounts for additional fees, they are great at sneaking them in! I could pursue in small claims court! Will NEVER use Verizon again!!!!

I relocated to AL had to switch carrier due to coverage. Was between AT&T & Verizon. The price abt the same but the Verizon Salesperson at the Florece, AL location offered me a combined $850 credits for my 2 lines so I went with them. When I tried to redeem credits the activation wasn't working. I have called Verizon support many times to resolve they always say no problem we will send you new email to activate but I never receive it. I switched 6/4 it is now Sept. I called the location for the sales rep claimed they cldnt tell who that was asked for a manager the person that answered the phone said he didnt like my tone & hung up on me. When I called back went to recorded message. I am now trying to reach their DM Jessica Fischer to see if she will help. Looks like I am moving my $150 a month service to AT&T

I am a new customer to Verizon. I only ported my service over because my sister recommended me after getting “exceptional” customer service. I have been going back and forth with customer service and store representatives trying to get my switcher credit (Mastercard) to pay off the phones that i traded in. I called customer service, told the representative that i got my final bill and i needed help with the steps. The rep transferred me to another rep. By the end of the call i spoke to 4 different employees and nothing was done. So I took my final bill into the store to get help completing the steps. The rep told me that everything was done and the card will be coming in the mail in the next few weeks. I finally got back in touch with my sales representative who tried to help me but the code had expired. This is very frustrating because my previous carrier has sent my final bill to collections. I am in the process of buying a house and now i have to pay that balance off then contact credit reporting companies to remove that negative mark. I work two jobs and have two small kids that take up all of my time. So it is costing me money taking off work to handle this matter. If i do not get this issue resolved, i will be contacting the BBB to voice my concerns. I will also be contacting my local news station because i notice i am not the only new customer experiencing this issue.

Very disappointed with service - I have been a customer for close to 10 years. I experienced the worst service ever. I've decided to switch to a different carrier. My son's Iphone was purchased from a different dealer in full. In order to have his service switched we needed the phone to be unlocked. After being on the phone for 4 1/2 hours and much back and forth I was told that his phone was unlocked (the phone is international) only to learn that one...it was never unlocked and two they suspended the service. To no avail my son is international with no phone and no way to get the service switched. Just ridiculous absolutely, why lock a paid in full phone and with him being international I should be able to switch providers without having to jump through hoops and registering and uploading documents. No where does it say all of that is required. I will not be doing business with Verizon again.
