“I was afraid Dr. Pentlarge would not be able to examIne my very aggressive Boston terrier, but she, with the help of her terrific aide, managed to keep him calm for a thorough examination. He has cataracts and the dr went over all of our options, particularly whether surgery would be indicated given his situation. She prescribed meds and went over the purpose and dosing of each one. Even though she was very busy, she didn't rush us through the appointment. We left feeling that, thanks to Dr. Pentlarge, we are doing all we can to keep our baby's eyes in good shape.”

“When our 12 year old Boston Terrier had surgery to remove a cancerous mass on his elbow, our vet was not able to get the entire mass as it had attached to Max's muscle. She referred us to the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital's oncology department. Although the first available appointment was 6 weeks away, it was well worth the wait. Every single person we encountered from the check in desk to the check out desk was wonderful. The news wasn't great, but the doctor clearly spelled out the the radiation options and provided valuable insight as to the degree of success for each. The team was extremely compassionate and patient with all of our questions, we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this hospital for your fur babies.”

“Firehall is the best vet I’ve been to, especially for exotic pets. They took great care of my very sick hamster, Hammy. Unfortunately, Hammy did eventually have to be put down as when I got her, she was already incredibly sick. Nevertheless Firehall was super compassionate and caring, and even sent me a letter in the mail afterwards, offering their condolences.”
