The worst customer service ever. Did not have a car available and never called and told me. Instead of transferring my reservation they canceled it and wanted to book me for double the rate. Talking to the supervisor on the phone was no help. The office told them they need to honor the rate and they refused! The worst customer service will not rent from any hertz again

Figured I'd write this review while I'm on the phone with customer service. My issue isn't that when I arrived despite having a reservation, they said their system doesn't update on time and they're only renting to business customers lmao. I'm laughing because, huh?! Uh, cool story bro. I was reviewing my AMEX and noticed that I was charged for a no show.
I wasn't bothered by any of this because it's business, not personal. Life happens. Things happen. However, I'm surprised at how employees handle customers, especially members with status. I was able to walk down to enterprise, whom heard me out and understood the urgency, and they put me in a car. Problem solved.
Life happens, so no big deal. The plus side is that I now know which location should be used out of pure desperation not for quality.

Do you like the smell of body odor? What about the smell of old mildew-y towels? Do you love driving Tesla's hundreds of miles and having to recharge every two hours? Do you like cars where the interior paneling is peeling for some unknown reason, and the interior trim for the b-pillar is totally detached, and maybe even a safety hazard with the seat belt?
Then this is the place for you!
I prepaid for the ✌️Manager's Special✌️ months ago thinking I'd get a very small compact car. But all they had was a Tesla with 112K miles. Normally I wouldn't care - you get what you pay and frankly the rate was very competitive. But when I showed up, all they could provide was this 2022 Model 3 Tesla.
It was probably the jankiest rental I've ever rented. It smelled like someone ran a marathon and then rubbed their armpits all over the interior, then tried to wash it off with an old milddewy towel .I didn't have to time to switch to another company so I had to take what I could.
I regret it.

Imagine arriving at your destination only to be told there’s no car available for you — with zero solution offered. Instead, you're told to call customer service yourself, only to get stuck in an endless loop with AI assistants before finally reaching a human.
If you don’t want to go through the same frustrating experience I did, do yourself a favor: stay far away from this rental center.

I came to switch out my gas rental that I got from the Marietta location to an electric vehicle. Staff were swamped with customers but were still courteous and professional and got me in a vehicle quickly. 5-stars to rockstars!

Website listed plenty of available inventory but the store had no inventory for rentals available. Unfortunately misleading and a large inconvenience. Hopefully Hertz can work to make their website more useful for their customers.

I have experienced better customer service at other Hertz locations. At this particular location, the issues I encountered included a long wait time upon arrival despite hearing other employees in the offices, the vehicle I originally selected not being available, and the replacement vehicle having an odor that the attendant attempted to mask by turning the AC to the maximum setting before I entered.

Excellent location if you're on top of everything. Sometimes they're overbooked but I think that has more to do with the company than the location. If they can accommodate you, they will. I rented from them years ago for over a year. Just rented for 4 weeks. They didn't have the car I booked, but I got a car, so I was satisfied considering it was an emergency rental. Make sure you don't book last minute because if they're overbooked priority goes to those who rented first.

I’m literally liking Hertz car rental better than Enterprise After many years of renting from them. I have gotten much better service and had never thought about renting from anyone else before and was believing that they were the best until Hertz has changed my mind this week.

Got to rental no car and they refuse to upgrade without paying another 25 a day. Worst customer service ever and I'm a gold member.
