Getting The New Year Flesh With IHG But Need Corporate To Govern ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Its Brand And Locations To Ensure Customers Are FULLY Aware Of Changes And State Regulated. A Few Months Ago Had To Be Turned Away From A Hotel Stay Due To Me Being A Local. It Was Told That It Was State Regulation And By Way Of Owner. Which Was A Shock especiallyLate In The Evening Reguardless To My State Residency. Which Turns Out That I Have A Reservation For But Had To Move The Date So I Wont Be Charged. There Were Other Witnesses Behind Be You Heard Clearly As Well. I AM A MEMBER WHO USES EVEN HOTEL AS A WELL LIKED BUT THIS BRAND HOTEL WAS HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS ROCHESTER MN LOCATION. Another incident At Staybridge Rochester MN Location and This Time I Called To Ask A Question and Was Told The Same Thing Very Nasty. Called Customer To File Complaint Due T The Fact That People Are Making Reservations Get To The Location To Be Denied A Room. The First Situation Above In Connection Lied On The Mayors Office But I Was Told "NO" It Would Be The Owners If This Is Of Truth. I Never Have Given Any Reason Of Complaint In Behavior And Word Nor Payment Unless Its Something Out Of My Control Between Banking institute . Don't Have Any Criminal Activity Either. Come In With Real ID. That Comment To The Customers About The Customers Are Not Professional Behavior Either. On A Good Note Thank You Even For Allowing Me To Use The Serves Provided And Really Apply The Slogans That I See Which Are Nice To My Everyday Life and Recovery.Excited About Starting The Year Flesh.......

We checked in late after an event. The junior suite riverview was nasty. It was late and we were too exhausted to report to hotel mgt.. Today we are, as well as reviewing here.Crown Plaza North Augusta is shameful to the Crown Plaza chain. The lobby was beautiful.....I suppose that’s the target audience.

I am a frequent traveler for over 30 years and an IHG member. I work for the US Government doing work that defends this great nation of ours. I am writing to inform you of the worst treatment I have EVER received from any hotel in the world, from 5 stars to 2 star hotels. The Holiday Inn Express in Warminster, Pennsylvania used Gestapo tactics on my family and I. My grandson is on a travel Ice Hockey team and most weekends from August through March, this team is on the roads staying at hotels. This is the second time at this hotel in a month. I had my daughter and 10-year-old grandson with me in the hotel. I reserved my room on the IHG Holiday Inn Express website. I selected the Government rate as I qualified for it. I also provided my credit card information to reserve the room.On the day of October 28, 2023, I went online to “Check-In” through the email from IHG I received allowing me to do this. My Family and I arrived at 6:45 PM where I again provided the required documentation. We spent a lovely evening and went to bed at approx. 1020 PM.At 0100am there was a very loud pounding on our room door. By the time I could get to the door there was a second pounding on the door waking the entire family. When I opened the door there was a large “security office” in a black uniform demanding I go with him to the front desk to “verify I was the person who registered at the front”. This is a Gestapo tactic which now has my 10-year-old grandson terrified!I asked why I had to come down at 0100 after I had already checked in online AND at the front desk 6 hours previous. He said I NEEDED to come down now! I asked again “why can’t this wait till the morning”. He said come down now. I told him I would be down in a minute and closed the door to gather my wallet with my US Government ID and room key. When I got to the front desk, the night clerk told me I needed to provide him my US Government ID and Credit card. I asked why as I had provided it at check in and when I reserved the room. He informed me he needed to verify who I was. At this point, the guard is standing just behind me to my left. I asked why this could not wait until the morning and that my grandson was up in the room petrified as he thought the police were arresting me! He just asked for my documentation.I asked if AAA members, Senior Citizen members and others with the discounted rate were being woken up also or was I being singled out for working for the Government. Now the guard is getting closer to me. Therefore, with that motion and believing I was NOT going to get an adequate answer, I provided the desk with my Government ID and Credit Card. This was very uncalled for. Never have I had to go through tactics used by this hotel and I will never go through them again at THAT hotel. I am also recommending to the travel coordinator to NOT use the IHG hotel chain.

Hotel indigo Tuscaloosa Alabama. ***STAY AWAY! TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE AND LEADERSHIP***. READ THE REVIEWS THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT.***. I am a diamond elite member and have been staying IHG hotels exclusively for years, I will never give another dollar to and IHG affiliated hotel after this...This company stole $3000 from me. I cancelled a reservation 7 days after booking and 3 months before the stay on probably the busiest weekend Tuscaloosa would see all year. Would have no problems rebooking the room, the front desk supervisor GraCY (who will falsely identify herself as the office manager until you press her) told me it was non refundable, I asked to speak with her manager she said "I am the manager" I replied "do you not have a supervisor?" Finally she said she would have one of the General managers (Greg or Cassie) contact me. Never received a call or any communication from the hotel again, even after multiple phone calls and voicemails. I was just ignored.

As a platinum elite member, I was deceived by representatives of the company and ended up being overcharged for two rooms. In trying to get the matter rectified, the Best Price Guarantee team has refused to provide me with who supervises them at the corporate level to have the matter reported. I reported the deceptive business practice to the FTC. Do not be fooled by this deceptive organization who will overcharge their loyalty members! Really bad business practice!

I was an employee there however also long time traveler. As an employee I was discrinated, bullied & witnessed many issues needed addressed. When I brought all to attention of IHG...including guest safety issues this was their response. I started w manager at Manitou Springs Holiday Inn Expreevand the GM then owner. No one cared. So I gave my 2 weeks notice. It was accepted and 2 days later while working the manager said she changed her mind. Excuse me? This is my rent! I gave notice to manager backed by a GM. But they don't care. Every item presented from homeless man n kitchen at 530am to over crowding small pool .. these are essential emergency resolutions.for safety of guest and staff. Lack of supplies o my! Refusal to get supplies. O my!!!!!Don't stay w this organization cause you see their response. They don't care either! iHG shame on you. From IHG when it reached their level. What if homeless man had knocked on their door at 530a? Could have happen. Lucky it didnt! I wouldn't bet my safety on that. Homeless man All the buzz when I came n. Front desk where were you??? But you still work there. Hmmmm.FORWRDThank you for bringing this matter to our attention, however, IHG does not own or manage this hotel. While we are always concerned about the type of allegations raised in your report, as IHG is not the employer, and is not the owner or manager of your hotel, we are limited in our ability to assist you. This hotel is independently owned and operated and the owner is responsible for day to day hotel operations. Please raise this concern with hotel management or the owner representative.Thank you.IHG Confidential Reporting Hotline Team

Tametra Ballard is an associate with this company and is extremely harassing and nasty. She is negative and overall a disgusting individual, and employees are a direct reflection of the company they are employed by. Tametra has been harassing me for months!! Action should absolutely be taken, while I understand that our personal lives are separate from our work lives, again, it is a known fact that employees are a reflection of the company. She is dishonest and overall an awful individual and I will not stand down to her harassment.

I am a Diamond Elite Member. Currently on hold with IHG for well over an hour because someone at the corporate office at this address charged my credit card 316.20$ without my authorization or my knowledge and no one has any clue what’s going on or how it happened, or who authorized it. How a corporation can unilaterally charge someone’s credit card for no reason, 2000 miles away is mind blowing. This place is trash

Just got out of the phone with a sales representative offering me the 3-day/4-night package to watch the timeshare membership presentation. After getting excited about it and buying the package, she asked me some questions to verify that I qualified, and to my surprise - after I said I wasn't a US citizen and didn't have a greencard, she simply said "I'm sorry you don't qualify, maybe try again in the future, have a good day". This was the most abrupt way to end a sales conversation I've ever experienced. You should ask the qualifying questions UPFRONT and not make me waste my time and get my hopes up to then crush it down like she did. This is awful customer experience right there. I will do my best to NOT stay at any of your hotels in the future.

Although guest relations are not responsible for the actual hotel incidents. They should be willing to rectify an issue and not try and pass the book in resolving issues. What is the point of having guest relations, i mean come on really its ridiculous, a waste of money having staff who are unwilling to assist after being passed to extension to extension taking not hours but days out of my time. Money spent on guest relations could actually be spent on actual guests because guest relations are useless and don't care at all.

“Priority Club” member since 1987. Even though my company preferred Hilton and Marriott, I also stayed with IHG through the years and built a modest point balance. Found out yesterday (5/15/23) my points were gone. (No notice from IHG via mail or email) Contacted customer service, spoke to 3 people (all English as a second language) with struggling phone skills. They can recite the program and policy as it is written, but no ability to understand the American culture of customer service. After an hour on the phone, most of it on hold, while the reps spoke to some back-office flunky, IHG was willing to restore 50% of my point balance. Finally, I spoke to Nathan, (allegedly a “supervisor”) and told him this should be a no-brainer decision but since he doesn’t have the authority, he came keep his precious points and I’ll use my 2+ million Marriott and Hilton points in my golden years and be quite happy doing so. They treat my 25+ years of loyalty with respect.Based on other reviews it seems IHG has made a conscious decision to turn their back on the customer demographic that built the company and its many franchises over the last 30+ years in favor of removing those pesky customer program points (liability) off the balance sheet. I wonder if Ms. Claire Bennett knows or even cares what’s really happening at the consumer level. I’m guessing not…
