“A wonderful butcher shop and a great resource in the neighborhood. They carry and custom cut very high quality products so don’t compare prices to grocery store chains. Fresh Prime beef, heritage pork, sushi grade salmon and tuna. Their frozen case is extensive with foie gras, red shrimp, veal shanks, sausages, premade sides, etc. It’s hard to make a decision with all the good choices. We recently had a Duroc pork loin and they butterflied it to perfection for us to make a porchetta . It was outstanding! Great service and nice knowledgeable people. We are regulars and happy to support this neighborhood gem.”

I needed a brisket for the holiday this week and I have to say it was the best brisket I’ve ever made. I cooked it slowly and it was tender, tasty and didn’t shrink like briskets I have bought in the past. Quality meat, excellent service this place is a win!”

“Yesterday I made my first ever sourdough loaf. Obviously, I couldn’t just slap some butter or cheese on it - the first slice had to be extra spectacular to commemorate the occasion. So I drove over to the Spotted Trotter to grab my usual, duck prosciutto. They were sadly sold out for the day but one of the guys recommended that I try the smoked duck breast. I mean, I knew it was gonna be good but g*ddamn - It was delicious. It’s one of those things that I’ll have to hide from myself in the back of the fridge so I don’t immediately inhale it. Thanks guys, I will definitely be back for more.”

“The meats are quality. I thought they actually make the cuts at the location but they don’t. Everything is prepackaged. So not sure why they call themselves a butcher shop when they don’t make the cuts themselves. It’s also quite pricey to say the least.”

“Arrived a little before 0700 for an 0800 appointment. Lady met me outside and asked me to back into door 3 and ring the buzzer by door 1 for assistance. Nice gentleman greeted me, took my paperwork, and let me know the lumper fee (reasonable). Full trailer load in and out before my actual appointment time (0740) Yes, you have to back in from the street, which wasn't too bad (quiet street), just make sure you enter at the correct side so you don't have to blind side and you're good. Maybe it's different if more trucks were waiting as they only had 1 door available, but when I got here on a Monday morning, it was just I. Washout by the Petro took longer...”

“NOTE: They do not have any halal meat. Although I didn't purchase anything it wasn't the fault of the business they were a well old machine. The meat was well presented, and while they had beef sausage (which is what I wanted) it was in a pork casing. I specifically searched for halal grocery and this is one of the options Google provided and it was the only one open before 9am. I'm frustrated because you have to pay for parking! But like I said none of that's is the business fault. That's why I gave them a 4 star, I am leaving this review so that Google might not make this mistake again.”

As well as provide other resources. We were recently blessed with an opportunity to expand our pantry bags with some protein. I contacted several meat markets with No one willing to assist with the packaging. Ethan not only offered to package the meat so we can serve more families but he gave us an amazing price!
