Wonderful experience purchasing our Thule XXL carrier and shout out “thanks” to Benjamin Y. in the department for helping us! Inventory said this store was one of 8 in the country to have one left, but no one was sure where it was. He found it after searching a while for us, and of course because we’re members, they helped us for the install.Great experience as usual!

It's like going to Toys R US but for outdoors and sporting goods. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. I hate going to stores and I know more than the employee, I came for guidance not to teach. I love it!!

Usually love REI but I went in to spend $250 on a pair of boots I know are in stock at this store and the employee I asked chose to be condescending and tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about when he was the one confused about the product and tried to tell me REI uses a different naming convention than the manufacturer.They do not and ignorance of that fact is not an excuse to lie.I asked a different associate and they found the exact shoe in the size I was looking for, so I’m not sure why the first person I asked for help was so hostile.

Came to visit REI today. Another great experience in the camping department! I did notice that a manager turned a customer with a dog away. I decided to ask about their policy since I sometimes bring my dog too. The manager kindly explained that they only allow service animals in store. This is because they carry products that could be ingested by pets and they also want to protect customers and staff who may be allergic to pets or even afraid. I think it’s great they go to great lengths to care for their staff and customers! Their store is being remodeled right now so lots of changes and it’s probably best not to bring your pet into a construction zone anyways. Looking forward to seeing everything once their remodel is done!!

If REI was a woman I think she would die from my adoration and sheerly at being in her presence. She conducts herself in an organized and stately manner and yet still surprises me with her spontaneous clearance and sale racks while enticing me with the wide variety of clothing, camping equipment and absolutely unnecessary but joyful add-ons that you can add to your camping experience. The best part is that this queen of camping and outdoor adventures has a lovely set of attendants. Who makes a process of both checking out and exploring with this lovely lady has to offer an amazing experience. While, it is true you will not find the sheer size of this REI to be overwhelming or even incredibly broad in its selection. But what you will find is real gear that supports a real outdoor adventure. In other words, a real woman with the beauty, the brains, the wisdom, and the smarts to support any adventure that you're willing to take on. (Replace with a man or anything in between if that is your cup of tea). Oh REI you are one of my top three dalliances for shipping in Atlanta.

I love our REI! Always well-organized and stocked, with super helpful staff and great resupply deals and sales.Yesterday my husband picked up his bike from an annual tune-up, and I brought some items for the gear trade-in program. Kathryn was amazing and walked me through the entire process, then helped me find some Pilates gear with my trade-in gift card.Thank you REI — we love you!

Very friendly,helpful staff. They were remodeling the back of the store, but there still was plenty of room. They had a nice selection of kayaks and also of bikes!

Ricky from the bike department was amazing! He was kind, thoughtful, and a pleasure to know! He and REI really set the bar- everyone seems to be in a great mood- even right before closing time. I will continue shopping here and plan to get my bike service here because of the the wonderful customer service he and his colleagues provided. Thanks for making my day much better, Ricky!

Love this store, my whole family shops at REI. But today (10/21/23) was the first experience of disappointment in over 8 years of loyalty. First my boyfriend and I were looking at getting new bikes. One employee, woman walks right up to me and said (loud and snotty) I hope that's for a kid, Adult bikes are over there. I let her know I was just looking at this one because I have a 28" inseam. Then she rolled her eyes at me and continued to help the man she was already helping. She lost this location 2 bike sales! Then the cashier asked my boyfriend if he was an avid biker due to the tool set we got. He said not avid, this set is perfect for working on my knifes and guns too. She informed us we needed to use bear spray for protection instead. Wow!! What a way to jump to conclusions on that one!! We are now taking our business to a different location.

I've used the bike shop over the years and have always been pleased with the recommendations and service. I've taken all sorts of bikes for service: from high end road bikes to run-around-beater bikes.. Mechanics at the shop are knowledgeable and practical. Prices are super reasonable.

I went into the store yesterday to return a super cute NorthFace running jacket. I forgot my receipt but the cashier was so nice and returned my item without one. If you are a member they can look up your information. This store is so amazing. I loved my experience, everywhere we went there was someone there to help and answer all of our questions. I noticed that they recently hired this black guy that is an avid camper, named Deep. He has a YouTube channel about outdoor activities and getting black people more involved in outdoor activities.Best customer service experience I have had in a while.
