REI is a place to shop for outdoor recreational equipment and gear, with an absurdly complete and wide selection. It offers pretty much anything for the outdoors except fishing, including its own award-winning line of clothing and gear. The store features competitive pricing and the newest items. It has a knowledgeable, helpful, and patient staff who provide great customer service, gladly sharing their enthusiasm. The shop does excellent work on services like bike repairs and makeovers. REI stands behind all products with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The store has the feel only a coop can have, but please note it does not allow dogs, only service animals.

This store is not customer focused. No helpful signage, never staffed adequately at checkout, and a reluctance to be efficient at checkout. I'm currently waiting inline (20 people) to pick up an online order. This is a common occurrence in my experience.

Nice PEI store. Staff really helpful. Selection of running shoes, which I was looking for, was great.
