About Trees Atlanta

Trees Atlanta is a nonprofit community group that protects and improves Atlanta’s urban forest by planting, conserving, and educating. It is widely regarded as one of the best nonprofits in Atlanta. The organization has a great new headquarters located near the Atlanta BeltLine and West End, with easy access from the trail. This building is perfect for sharing space, holding community meetings, and hosting events like parties or weddings. The staff and tour guides are described as kind, flexible, understanding, easy to work with, and incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond to provide excellent learning experiences, embedding specific curriculum into their tours of areas like the Eastside BeltLine Arboretum. These tours are highly recommended for both residents and visitors, offering new insights into the city and its natural environment. The organization works to make the world greener and more beautiful, contributing to Atlanta’s identity as a city in a forest. The landscaped grounds are open from dawn to dusk, while the building is open to visitors Monday through Friday. Trees Atlanta is a great place with great people dedicated to this vital mission.
