“I should have written this review 2 years ago, but the pain was real. We were taking our baby here for several years when she got cancer and when I tell you that the care she received and the empathy that gave was really special. The doctor was always straight forward and compassionate and when the decision was made to end her pain, they supported us in every way possible. We have finally decided to adopt a new baby and didn’t even consider going anywhere else! I know our new baby will be in great hands!!!”

“Dr. McTaggart saved our kitten's life!! She performed an emergency chest tap to drain fluid around our kitten's chest and saved his life! We couldn't afford the $5,000 emergency care at UGA. “When I got home from a few days away , my cat was very ill. She hadn't eaten, and had become very dehydrated. It seems that she was so stressed by my leaving that she got sick and had a uti. The veterinarian and staff were very kind and quick to help. The medications that were prescribed worked quickly. 2 weeks later, she has gained back the weight she lost while I was away, and she is eating and drinking normally. I would recommend this practice because they were quick , efficient , friendly and kind”

Throughout the process of getting a diagnosis, they were thorough and compassionate. I have been to other vets where I felt “further testing” for health issues became casting a wide net and costly but Winder Animal Hospital was targeted and had a diagnosis quickly and efficiently that did not leave me choosing between finances and getting my questions answered. When we had to put my dog down, they were compassionate and so helpful. I was walked through the whole process, given time to say my goodbyes, and the entire staff expressed their condolences. I worked with Dr. Theos and Dr. Duffy throughout the process. Please consider making them your vet if you are looking for one. You will not regret it.”

“We have been going to Bethlehem Vet Hospital for the last few years and have always had a great experience. In the last few months, we’ve been back quite a few times with our 3 pets. We have a very old cat with health issues, a younger cat with a bad attitude, and a very anxious puppy. All 3 make going to the vet a little difficult for various reasons but Dr. Nelson as well as all the staff do EVERYTHING they can to make it as stress free as possible. I truly can’t say thank you enough to the whole team at BVH!”
“I took my pet cat to a vaccination clinic held at Tractor Supply. The aisle in the store is very tight however the veterinarian and their assistants work fast and efficiently so it wasn't a bad experience. And the cost is very affordable.”

“I went to this vet the other day for the first time and it is an exceptional vet. I just found out my chiweenie Parma has a bunch of medical issues but they gave me hope and medicine to help her heart condition. The doctor was gentle and right with my dog and I recommend this vet to everybody that staff was exceptionally nice right place to take your animal. I definitely give it a five-star I'd love to that and I've only been there once but they genuinely care about animals. I had just moved and was in this area and was hoping to find a good bet but they exceeded my expectations so happy that I found a good vet.l”

“I’ve been to several vets in the area. This vet practice is awesome (I’ve waited a year to truly “vet” them). My definition of a good vet- they don’t “push” stuff on you. They work with you and honor your wishes. The main vet here… she works her butt off. I appreciate and respect her so much.
I’ll add that many vets are run by “big business” (like big companies that buy homes and rent them, for example), which means they must follow certain rules, and encourage (push) certain medications and shots (much like the current human medical for-profit business model).”
“Everyone at the Eastside Animal Medical Center goes above and beyond to provide the best care to their fur patients and their caregivers. The treatments they recommend can be expensive, but alternatives are always offered and discussed. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate. They truly love our babies.”
“Dr. Cutchin has been my veterinarian for my cats and dogs since I moved to Georgia in 2023. I never feel rushed during my visits. He always listens carefully to my questions and is very thorough in explaining his answers and recommendations.
He truly cares about my pets and their well-being. He is very knowledgeable about animal health and illnesses. When complicated issues arise, I appreciate very much that he does extra research and has consulted with and referred me to veterinary specialists to seek the best treatment options.
