I came back after a long time and the place is nice to walk but there's no bathrooms and its startin to look a little rough. Needs some pressure washing.

Gorgeous and relaxing day spent strolling along the Augusta Riverwalk. All the "critters" were out and about taking advantage of the beautiful weather. I highly recommend taking the time to view all the special monuments and unique artwork along the Riverwalk.Playground: Nice little playground area for children.Dog-friendliness: Great place to bring your furry friends!Picnic area: There were several nice spots to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch, read a book, or just relax.

I can't say anything bad about this place. It was a nice experience. It was a good place to take the family on a walk and to take a nice boat ride. I hope you like history because the man will speak about history the whole time, except on the way back. I enjoyed it. I can't speak about the bathroom on the boat. I did not use it. But who wants to use a public restroom if you could avoid it anyways? Most public restrooms are gross.

Peaceful by the lake during early hours. You can park at the River walk and walk down until your possibly midway and cut through an opening to find yourself walking into the Saturday market every Saturday. Several vendors come out between 8am-2pm.

Such a beautiful place. Got there around 0830 am on an August morning. Very comfortable until about 945 when it started getting humid. Other than that, such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the outdoorsPlayground: Playground near the bridge.Dog-friendliness: Saw quite a few people walking their dogs. Please just pick up after your fur babies.Picnic area: A few places to sit and enjoy your food.

Beautiful, quiet, riverfront playground and boardwalk. If you get there at the right time (1:45pm being one of them) you'll get to see a train go across the bridge slowly! It's nice and shady in the heat of summer and the cool air circulating from the waterfront makes this area especially good when the heat is overwhelming. The downside is that there are sometimes unsavory types of people (ie addicts) that hang out/sleep at the nearby picnic tables and benches, which I realize can be off-putting when you are there by yourself with young children. To be clear, I have never been bothered by this, or by the people themselves, but I can see how it might bother others, so it's important to note. There is a marina just beyond the railroad bridge where riverboat tours are given (highly recommend doing one of these tours) and other boats are docked. You can walk out onto the dock to get a closer look at the Savannah River.Playground: The playground has equipment for both older kids and younger kids and there are benches surrounding it, as well as a few picnic tables. The area has lots of trees and is generally shady so you don't have to endure the heat of the sun while the kids play.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on leashes.Picnic area: There are multiple picnic tables and benches along the Riverwalk.

The walk was great as weather was nice. We walked the whole area and enjoyed it. On weekdays the walk was with least crowds and we enjoyed quality family time.Highly recommended.

Augusta and its surroundings are inhabited by racist, frustrated people, frozen in time and where progress will never penetrate. Many people have moved to this area in the last two years, especially retirees. For them it can be a good place. For young people and middle-aged people it is a dead area without prospects. Nothing interesting to visit, nothing to applaud. At every step you meet only idiots in traffic. Medical services are a bad joke, although the city is full of medical colleges.Unfriendly to emigrants and where poverty contrasts strongly with prosperity. It is not worth coming from the North and stopping here. Florida will always be an alternative, not necessarily more expensive, but good.

Nice, quiet and cool. Convenient ramps for wheelchairs to reach upper and lower levels.I walked from the Cybersecurity building to the other end. There are a lot of steps to climb if you start there, which is pretty much the end but it seems they are going to expand further.
