The resort is known for its welcoming, friendly staff and a safe atmosphere, making it a good place for vacation and social gatherings. It features two bars—the Edge Nightclub and Capri Lounge—where guests can enjoy drinks and socialize. The resort is also a popular spot for hosting gay events, with two cruisy play areas and a welcoming environment for meeting new friends. Guests appreciate the small café, which serves food but is not open every day, and enjoy the outdoor amenities such as a hot tub, an unheated pool, and a steam room with irregular hours. The pool area is well-maintained with tropical landscaping, and the hot tub can accommodate about six people. However, noise from the nightclub, especially near the disco, can be a downside for early sleepers, as the base thumping can continue past 1 am. Prices are reasonable but have increased, with rooms costing around $200 after taxes and fees during major events. The resort is located in an industrial area on a busy highway, making walkability limited, and a car or Uber is recommended for exploring nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, Parliament Resort offers a private, cruisy atmosphere with friendly staff and a variety of amenities, making it a favored destination for those attending events or seeking a relaxed, social environment.
A great place to vacation for several days. You feel very SAFE here. Very friendly staff, cafe has good food, Capri Lounge is our favorite place to hang out.
