Moving into Westlake and joining the country club has undeniably been the best decision my family and I have made. From the moment we stepped foot onto the secure grounds of Westlake, we knew we were in for a truly exceptional relationship.
One of the highlights of our week has become the Tuesday night family nights. It's a time when we come together as a family, enjoy each other's company, and create lasting memories in a beautiful and welcoming setting. The sense of community and camaraderie during these evenings is truly heartwarming.
The cuisine at Westlake is nothing short of wonderful. From gourmet entrees to delectable desserts, the culinary experience at Westlake is a true delight for the senses.
What truly sets Westlake apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The team at Westlake is not only professional and efficient but also incredibly welcoming and friendly. The staff's dedication to ensuring every member feels at home is truly commendable.

“Been to the Bell for a handful of shows now the setup and show quality is great and I love the talent they manage to get this show was Kevin Hart and it was excellent! The only negative I would mention is they cram you into tight seating to get as many people as possible, can feel claustrophobic if you're of bigger build.”
“It was ? beautifully laid out like the bride & groom wanted. The food was amazing and the service staff was wonderful. The only thing I'd add, being a former server of 20 yrs, is that those with very long hair should pull it up. Especially, working around people's food.”

“This is a very nice and relaxing place on the banks of Savannah River with a romantic view of an old iron railroad bridge on an extreme left side of the place and a very nicely remodeled walking bridge on the other right side of the marina, I stoped at this place on my way down to Charleston and was so surprised on how beautiful quiet and relaxing it was, wish I had the time to spend at least two days in this city to enjoy waking up and walking around this area in a morning, there is a souvenir shop where I got postcards magnets and local T-Shirts. I saw little turtles in the river too”

“Was at Bowlero over Labor Day for a tournament. Was impressed with them. The staff was friendly, especially Steve, the maintenance guy. He helped me out with finding the line. Will hopefully go back next year for this tournament.”

“It cost so much to stay there for 2 nights 300$ and nothing special really after paying though booking I then got a 25$ (surpose to get back ) but never did when I checked out ? I really like it everything is ok except for the extra charge and sometimes the rude desk lady that hates her job I experience this time ?! I had to go nextdoor cause there just as nice but way cheaper and your business is appreciated . They offer same thing just lower prices . My husband and I do this every year cause it's our get away and anniversary 20+years and want something nice but that 25$ really bothers me cause your not getting it back ?! I just think for 300$ there should be a little more accommodating but live and learn .Nearby activities: Stores , RestaurantsSafety: We felt safeWalkability: Restaurants right there and storesFood & drinks: Breakfast was great , cracker barrel across the street and waffle house and few more places”

“What a beautiful spot! The hotel is undergoing some minor renovations, but nothing that hinders the experience. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was immaculate. I'll be back to Augusta frequently for work over the next year and this will be where I stay!”
“We had to stay at the Sheraton Augusta under very tumultuous, untenable conditions. But even with that, the hotel was very clean upon our arrival and the staff was the absolute best! I especially want to name Gene, Lillian, Ms. Black, and Amanda! You couldn't have asked for a more personable, caring, informed front office staff. Thank you!!!”

“Great location for an overnight stay while traveling. Would be ideal for long term stay as well. Kim at the front desk was so welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Added plus our dog enjoyed her stay too! Would definitely stay again.”

“What a delightful new experience this was! The concept of this being a BnB, a Bed & a Bar, was unique, to say the least! Tucked away in Olde Towne Augusta, you enter into the inner parking square of a block of Victorian homes to find the entrance to this stone-walled basement bar that has live music & open mic nights throughout the week. It was outstanding music! As a nightlife loving person, it was perfect for me. The suite that I had directly above the bar was well proportioned & nicely decorated, to include an old-pipe organ in the front living room! It is a specific customer that will appreciate the place; if you’re into live music, musicians collaborating late into the night, drinks & discussions, the place is for you! It was for me.
Rooms: All beautifully apportioned suites, 5 total, with each given an historical name & decorated according to the period style. Very nice. Comfortable bed, pullout couch, refrigerator, large TV with internet access, immediate access to cocktails from the bar below.
Safety: Walking east- to southeast-ward is not recommended late at night, in my experience.
Walkability: Right on the edge of Olde Town Augusta that blends then into newer downtown area, if going in that direction (East to Southeast is not recommended for walk ability at nighttime)
Food & drinks: Excellent cocktails & served by the nicest of bartenders!
Noteworthy details: Epitome of the Hideaway Bar/Live Music venue phenomenon. It is a thing!”
