“Rude staff/rude manger at the back stocking. I have gone in 2 times in a row during my lunch hours to find the trending dumpling. I usually never ask I just went in check and leave if I didn’t see any. Today I decided to ask the lady stocking. She was very rude and said “we get them when we get them” I said thank you and went on to check out for the item I wanted (almost did leave it and just left) at check put the very kind and sweet girl that greets everyone I asked her and she said we do have them we got them in today. She then proceeded to show me them. Her name is Olivia. She made my kids day. They were so happy. Olivia is the only reason why i give it a 5 start because I was going to give it a 1 star. They have to be and do better.”

“I wish I'd taken some pics of how a store should be organized and structured. Visiting this establishment must I say was "QUITE A DELIGHT". 1."HELLO", I felt welcomed to be a customer. 2. CLEAN & ORGANIZED! No items strayed in the isles, nothing out of place! Also, you could smell the CLEAN as entering the front door! 3. Public Restroom clean. Any customer that needs: Hand soap, Lysol wipes, paper towels and toilet paper was within reach! 4. Manager Brandon was extremely welcoming and most approachable. He was attentive and pleasant! Whatever Brandon, Amanda & their crew are doing AT THIS LOCATION, NEEDS TO BE HIGHLY IMPLEMENTED at your 4061 Anneewakee Rd. location!!! Not able to remember the young lady's name that cashed out my sister but, she was MOST HELPFUL & CONCERNED. She'll remember me as "Sweet Potatoe Pie"??? We enjoyed our visit and this is my set store!”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
