“This is an amazing company helping those in need. For those without or with insurances but it don’t cover what you in need. And if you just can’t afford the equipment this here is a great place to check out. All I did was signed up and gave a donation. I love this company they have helped me tremendously with equipment and affordable supplies like Diapers and men pads. From their thrift store at a much cheaper price than the store for my son. I am grateful someone thought enough to shared this company with me. Equipments and supplies can be very expensive. Thanks to FODAC and all you do for the community, my son and I. You have save me so much. You are truly heaven sent! ??”
“Always find way too much stuff when I visit. My friend recently found a real suede jacket in perfect condition for $25, which was a steal for how nice it was. I usually only spend a couple of dollars per item. They always have fresh selection, this might be my favorite thrift store in Atlanta.”
“what an amazing thrift store. it might look small from the outside but it is always packed with tons of AFFORDABLE options. “I love making the trip out to this shop once in awhile. Such a great mission behind it, involved in the community and staffed by friendly volunteers. The prices are amazing for the quality of items, which includes clothing, shoes, accessories, household goods, collectibles and more (although like in any thrift store you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time looking!). The consistent seasonal rotation of stock keeps things feeling fresh. They also have a newsletter you can sign up for that is really helpful for keeping up with the various specials they run. Sometimes everything is half off for example, or you can fill up a whole bag for x$ or like today I spun a wheel and got a 20% discount.
Good to know: they are not open every day so be sure and check the hours, and be aware there is a whole other part of the shop upstairs you have to go outside and around to access, with clearance items and bigger things like furniture.”
“Amazing, mission-driven organization that supports those in need. It is 100% volunteer-run and they do great work in the community supporting children without resources. Not to mention, you can find some great clothing and household items in the store. Shopping here is a great way to support the incredible initiatives of this organization while also buying your clothes in a sustainable way second-hand.”
“This was my first time visiting Chalice Thrift, and I was amazed! I came because a volunteer invited me, and I’m so glad I did. The shop has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the selection of clothing and household items is fantastic. “Hi Mr. Williams - On Sunday, my 4.5-year-old, 77-year-old mom and I decided to drop off donations to the Goodwill location on Northside drive in Atlanta. I had an important teaching opportunity at a conference that day but wanted to be sure to spend time with my family beforehand, so we all decided to go into the store itself to look for toys to donate to my son’s school. He (we) had so much fun perusing and picking out affordable toys that we lost track of time and somehow it was 20 minutes before I had to be seated for my teaching opportunity. In a panic we quickly returned everything to buy later. The whole way home I mentally kicked myself for not paying closer attention to the time. 3 hours later my training ended and I rushed back to Goodwill to see if our items were still there. Luckily, they mostly were! I was beyond excited that I didn’t have to go “shopping” again and could get in and out to prep for my son’s first day of school. Before completely leaving I ended up needing assistance and encountered one of your above and beyond sales associates, Trena. Her attentiveness, support and kindness nearly caused me to walk away in tears. We both agreed that I shouldn’t do so because then we’d both be in tears! Trena restored my faith in humanity and reminded me that people are mostly good. She, however, was better than good.
Writing this doesn’t feel sufficient to describe the level of customer service that I received, which surpassed the standards of any company and certainly any customer service that I’ve received in probably more than a decade. She even somehow managed to sign me up for a Goodwill loyalty membership, (something I never usually sign up for in any other store) which showed me as a business owner that she is skilled and that she never lost sight of the company’s expectations.
I realized after this encounter why I was supposed to lose track of time before my big teaching opportunity that day. It wasn’t so that I could internally beat myself up about better time management in the future. It was all about my chance-meeting with the gem of a human being that you all get to work alongside each day. It made a lasting impact on me that I will always carry with me. Though I had plans to teach at a conference on Sunday, I was the one who learned and walked away with many important lessons that day. I have and will continue to reflect on those lessons and share them with my loved ones and those that I serve in my own work as a psychotherapist.”
“If your a man looking for “Alternative aesthetics”, stuff like y2k clothing and baggy jeans, from my experience I wouldn’t say this is the store to go to as most of the stuff were basic. But my mom does love going here. overall, if my mom loves it. Thats what matters.”

“I stopped in this Goodwill location and was beyond impressed with the gentleman on the register, Jason. He was so kind to every person in line, cared about when I mentioned I cut my hand on something and let me wash off even though closing time. He also took my cart and walked to the cart area. This is above and beyond & NOT the norm at these stores. Thank you so much Jason! He is a gem! The store was tidy and found some great treasures too!”

“This Goodwill is hit or miss. Sometimes I leave empty-handed. The prices are still reasonable, and this location hasn’t been hit with the major price hikes yet. However, they also tend to have the worst furniture and the most boring items. Maybe it’s the neighborhood or the type of donations they get.
I’ve never seen a piece of furniture at this location that made my heart drop because it wouldn’t fit in my truck. You know the feeling I’m talking about — when you don’t even need the furniture, but you want it anyway because it’s just that beautiful. I haven’t come across anything like that here. Most of the time, I’m just trying to figure out whether the stains on the furniture are human-made or juice… then walking away.
The employees can have a slight attitude with people. I’ve seen it firsthand, though I’ve never experienced it myself. I carry myself with decorum and don’t invite the kind of energy that gets that response.
Overall, it’s a good location, but not a great one.”
“This goodwill is one of the better ones in Atlanta. It's not the best one tho but its still one to go and check out if you are in the area or are a thrifter or goodwiller. But like any other goodwill this one is hit or miss but anytime that I have went to this one ive always walked out with a purchase. So if you are in the area and like thrifting then this pull be a stop to add to your list. I gave 4 stats cuz I could give three and a half stars or I would have. ⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I came here today after the store closest to me turned me away because they were too full. It was almost closing time by the time I made it over to the Ansley store, and they said that they were actually too full as well. However, they said they'd make it work regardless since I had already packed everything up. I wouldn't have made it to another location before they closed and also couldn't have driven around with my car as full as it was. It took forever to schlep all my stuff from my high rise to my car, so I'm so grateful that I didn't have to keep all this stuff in my place and then do this all over again in a few days! It would've been easy for them to say no or to be annoyed about it (especially so close to the end of the day!), but they were very accommodating and super friendly. Very much appreciated. Thank you!!”
