“Dollar General Statham is an Essential part of Statham. This store has helped many people who otherwise can't get into Athens or Winder for Shopping. Elderly, those without transportation. It carries most everything a large store has just a smaller more convenient shopping experience. I am glad they are a part of Statham business.”

Bad news, this store is shutting down. It's been here for as long as I have, and I hate to see it go. Some of the nicest people, best customer service, and cheap, exotic snacks. If you're in the area, pick up some furniture or discount holiday decor while you can.
Its a good store! You'll always find what you need. Nice selection of snacks, furniture, and house hold items. Some of the best prices for things, like hand soap. I never had a problem with service. Its usually empty, though. I'd reccomend”

I was in today getting last minute supplies for one of my daughter's birthdays, and running so far behind trying to get the house looking great for her to wake up to. The staff gladly filled balloons for me, something I was dreading at 9:30 at night. Those 5 minutes helped me so much. Thank you Mady (she is always so nice and positive) and the rest of the night crew for always taking care of your customers......”
“I was there today, March 7th, at 11:39 am (store number 09147). The name of the young lady who rang me up is not on the receipt but she is really awesome! I go to this store often and she is the associate I come in contact with the majority of the time. I wanted to give her a great shout out because she is always so helpful and has a great sense of humor and demeanor.
