“Corporate is lousy (2-stars). The local staff is good (4-stars). They expanded the parking area (we park our travel trailer there) and “corporate” sent me a text that they were going to tow my RV if I didn’t call right away. The local staff apologized for corporate sending me the negative tone of the text. I needed to move my RV to the new spot - against the fence which is overgrown with kudzu vines and is already growing on the ground under these new spaces. I pulled up the vines as best on my new space but encroachment from other spaces is going to become a problem pretty quick. We sometimes are away from the area for 3 or 4 months - I shouldn’t have to deal with invasive fast-growing vines. I’m concerned that the vines are going to end up growing onto my RV and damage it. This isn’t the first time corporate has sent aggressive threatening texts. Previously they texted me that they were going to begin adding an insurance fee if I didn’t select an insurance package to insure the contents of my storage unit. Again, I called and explained to the local staff that I’m parking my RV and I don’t have a storage unit. They apologized that corporate sent the insurance (threat) text to everyone and the corporate program doesn’t recognize that it doesn’t apply to those who are renting an outdoor parking space. I am an excellent customer and have automatic bill pay and I’m never late with my payment. I’ve been renting my parking space for over a year at this location. I don’t deserve corporate’s strong arm texts as if I’m a scofflaw. Right now I’m worried about the invasive kudzu and whether the local staff will keep it in check. Oh, and the gate access isn’t working and the lot is always open. Not very secure. The 4-stars is for the local staff (5-stars if the gate and kudzu are taken care of 24/7). I give corporate 2-stars for their arrogant and aggressive tone of their texts and rudimentary algorithms.”

“I love that the lock just inserts into the door but when you pull it out it stays w the key!There's no setting the lock down and misplacing it while moving items!And the rolly carts are wonderful to use!I threw a blanket over a little baby bird who was trapped inside and took him outside ?”

“Not the cleanest or newest facility, but the owner is very trustworthy and the storage units are kept secure with a locked gate that is only open during business hours. And, they have the cheapest rate I've found in Athens! Climate-controlled units are available for a slightly higher monthly rate. The location is easily accessible right off Atlanta Hwy. Only a couple minute drive from downtown. Close to the loop and Hwy. 316. Glad to support a local business and would recommend to anyone!”
“New owner is wonderful! We only needed our unit for a month and he still went out of his way to accommodate us. He was quick to answer the phone and easy to work with to rent the unit and to turn the key back in. I highly recommend them for your storage needs!!”

“Had a snag with one of the stalls, contacted the owner and he was very friendly and apologetic and refunded me without hesitation. Rare customer service these days! He said they have plans for renovations in the future, so be sure to check back!”
“Pickup was slow due to the presence of a single person working the counter and a problematic customer. Customer took up a lot of time making snide comments to the person at the point of sale. Once he was out the door, the process went well, but having another person working would have allowed for better flow through. Dropoff was very easy and efficient. Rep was walking out with my information as I walked into the store. Knew who I was and got me checked out quickly. Still the easiest place to get a Uhaul in Athens.”

“This is a new facility in Watkinsville, GA. As I am an older guy, the new roll up doors are easier to handle than older facilities in the area. Anthony checked me in and is the consummate professional, efficient and even checked on me to make sure everything was going well moving into the unit. Titus checked me out and was the same, friendly and efficient. Couldn't be better. Five Plus stars.”
