Uline Shipping Supplies - G6 is a leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials. The business is described as a great company with knowledgeable and friendly on-site personnel. Customers from other businesses report that the people they have dealt with are kind and good, and they appreciate the support. The facility itself is noted to have spacious docks and a maneuvering lot that makes dropping and hooking trailers very easy, though the location can be a little hard to find. However, several reviews of the hiring process raise significant concerns. Multiple applicants describe the interview process as unprofessional and poorly conducted, often taking place in a noisy warehouse setting with forklift and machinery noise, making communication difficult. Applicants report taking timed tests and feeling that the company picks and chooses who they like based on factors other than merit or qualification, with some perceiving negativity from interviewers. There are strong opinions that management may lack good judgment in selecting candidates, with questions raised about high employee turnover and constant recruiting. One applicant with a clean military record was denied while a friend with a criminal record was hired, leading to further questions about the process. Despite these criticisms of hiring practices, the company's operational customer service, such as in the credit department, is acknowledged as very professional and handled without hassle.

Had a wonderful experience here for a return and pick up. Ron, and another gentleman (I didn't catch his name) assisted me in unloading a heavy item from my vehicle, and loading up another order. They were so polite, helpful and courteous. Shout out to Ron and the others for being such a bright light at Uline!
