Bath and body works lower level has the WORST customer service, save your time going to this location, go to the one upstairs they were much nicer!!

Claudia is a very very rude associate, I asked her to wrap up my gift and She started making complaints about that, like that was annoying for her. She started throwing everything around and saying disrespectful stuffs.

This store is the exact reason why I no longer shop at BBW. The customer service is horrible. When BBW updated their policies (which is fine), the workers started to treat the loyal customers like they’re criminals or something. Thank goodness there’s a Yankee candle in the mall for home fragrances, which is what I only went to BBW to purchase anyways. The upper level, I’ve had good experiences I will say, but that lower level BBW, their workers need some serious training. It’s awful.

Went to the store on the LOWER level to return a candle that I had NOT used and another candle that I had burned ONCE and did not like the smell and it burned way too quickly. Went into the store to return and the manager (girl with long braids), and the associate were beyond unprofessional. The manager refused to return my burned candle, and the associate went on to say “we can’t put this back on the shelf so, we can’t take it back.” What happened to the 100% satisfaction policy? It isn’t like I’ve ever done this before. Oh, but it gets better. The manager then accuses me my other candle being burnt that is CLEARLY unburnt and never been lit. I took the burned candle back and they then asked me about finding my online order. My app would not pull up because of reception so I asked if they could just do an even exchange. She refused and told me I could go back out the store to get service if I needed to. I’m still attempting to pull it up and she said there isn’t much they can do because of it being an online order, which I know is untrue. I was polite this entire ordeal and then I finally had enough. At that point, I was over it and just told them never mind, took back my things, said “thank you” and left. I didn’t know this until after i got home, but my partner heard everyone behind the register laughing and talking about me as we were leaving. Needless to say, I told myself I will NEVER give this company my money ever again after having been a customer for over a decade.I ended upstairs at the mall to go to a different store and saw that there’s another B&BW. I went in and asked to speak to a manager because I felt as if the girls downstairs genuinely just did not care and were telling me misinformation. I explained the situation and more than one staff member apologized and I truly wish there was a way for me to leave stars for the location UPSTAIRS because they were phenomenal. Myrna and the store manager solved my issue and went above and beyond and offered great customer service that the downstairs location did not. If it weren’t for them, I would have never stepped foot into another B&BW store again. They truly deserve a raise and are truly an asset to the company.As for the downstairs location, shame on you for being in retail and having such poor customer service skills. I worked in retail for a well known company and was a manager there and never in my life would I have ever treated a customer the way I was treated. Apparently, we’re just hiring anyone to be a managers nowadays with absolutely no people or life skills. I will never go to this location ever again. They should learn how to run a store from the location upstairs or maybe hire individuals who are adult enough to actually be managers.

Came in for candle Day at 6:00am and Donald was such a great help. I couldn’t find my 20% coupon and was driving from out of town he made sure to help with customer service to resolve my issue.

First time ever - went and bought hand soap on sale 2$-3$. and it was nothing but water! I called the manager of the store and they hung up on me. will not be back to a bath a body works again. no refund or apology. cheap company! don’t waste your money.

Always have a problem with my coupons. I'm always told that it is to be used online. Had a problem ordering online, so I went to the store and was told that the coupon was not honored in the store. I'm a bit frustrated. Smh!
