My first experience at a UPS Store that charges for tape on Amazon returns. I was given a choice of a few pieces for $2 or a whole roll for $5. I went with the roll, so if you're feeling like a big spender, this is your place. Otherwise, tape your package up before you arrive or just avoid

I went in with Amazon returns like I always do to any UPS. Halfway through Syed huffs and puffs asking me how many items I have. There was no one else behind me waiting to be helped… I’m sorry you’re upset you need to work…? I awkwardly said I only have about 4 items left. My mom is home bound so I brought her returns and mine. At the last item I just lightly, smilingly said, “last one!” to let him know I’m done and he said, “I’m gonna show you where you’re supposed to do the returns. I only did it as a courtesy for you today” and walked me to a self service kiosk. He clearly didn’t want to do it for me despite there not being anyone else that needed help. And even if there were, I drove 45 minutes in traffic to get to this UPS to do my errand. And if there were people ahead of me, I would have to wait. Every UPS I go to, the employees help me even if there is a self service option. He clearly didn’t want to be there or be helpful. If you’re looking to do all your own work and not get any customer service, this location is where to go

Mellissa, the receiving clerk was very helpful. She listened to our concerns and assisted with our transaction in a compassionate and efficient manner. Very thankful for out interaction with Mellissa. She Rocks! Your company is very fortunate to have her assisting your VIP customers. 🙏

Look up the Yelp reviews for this Buford location - 2.5 star. Sadly the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a UPS Store. The manager doesn’t even try to hide the fact that they’re trying to trick customers into paying for services that should be free. Trying to charge for their boxes when we brought in our own Amazon return box, charging to tape up the box, claiming we need to pay for a return despite having a free return label, the list goes on. Awful, do not want to give this location any business.

Employee (possibly the owner or manager) was really rude. Passive aggressive and asked me if I wanted to buy tape even though my return instructions (Amazon drop off) did not tell me I needed to prepare it.
Lectured me on how they don’t get much profit from people not taping their boxes. Overall, just rude and doesn’t care about the customers. Definitely not coming here again.

Sam was so helpful and patient, helping my friend and I ship our package out-of-state. We brought in quite the project — items with no functional box, no tape, no label. But, he was kind (and even funny) the whole time, helping us through the whole process and explaining the shipping options. Thanks UPS, and thanks, Sam, for a great experience today!

Had an excellent experience with Jessica during my recent visit. I had to ship an item overnight and Jessica was great at providing the right box, explaining the various shipping options and costs and even letting me know how my memberships like AAA, AARP, etc, including military affiliations can provide me a discount.
Her positive and friendly personality have me looking forward to my next visit.

This is the 2nd time Ive made the exact same review. The owner is deleting reviews.... I will update and do it again if i have to..... Horrible customer service for amazon returns. The young lady broke my box then tried to uncharge and tell me I needed to buy a new box. I said I have a box at home and returned. I then asked for their tape so I can then tape the new box I required because she broke it. Instead of doing the right thing because again she BROKE IT! he proceeded to tell me I needed to buy a tape gun and that he wasn't going to allow me to use it. I am currently at the Sugar Hill UPS who has customer purchased tapes that other customers left for other to use in this exact situation. They have a much friendly environment and a truly pleasant staff. I will NEVER be back to this location & that's sad because that was my 1st time at this facility. Straight trash!
