“By far the best gym I’ve been to. The owner is great and maintains the gym very well. My husband and I have been coming here for almost 3 years and for the last several months an older gentleman has been coming in and when doing his sets he would slam the weights down with each rep . This was very disruptive and has been happening every time he’s been here. After a while the other day my husband finally approached him and politely asked if he could lower his weights a bit more quietly. The man said sure, then immediately started slamming his weights down again. The owner took notice of this and also approached the man after my husband’s attempt did not work. He asked him to stop using his equipment that way, and if he wasn’t going to he would need to find another gym to go to. The man took great offense and without any further explanation or conversation, angrily told Jason to cancel his membership and he left.

I only bring this up because I noticed that man’s wife posted a negative review of this interaction and she was not even there that day. I was. The owner handled the situation perfectly and while I’m sorry this man took offense to being asked not to disrupt others and not tear up equipment, I’m happy to belong to a gym with an owner who is willing and able to look out for not only his gym but his patrons as well!”
