“I usually arrive around 5:45 am, and the early crowd here is surprisingly disciplined. People wipe down machines without being reminded, which makes a difference. I stick to a mix of rowing and free weights, and most equipment is available at that hour. One morning, the rower I use wasn’t tracking distance properly, but a staff member reset it quickly after I mentioned it. The lighting is bright enough to stay alert without feeling harsh. It’s become part of my routine now, mostly because I can get in and out without any unnecessary delays.”
“I have been to more traditional gyms to work out, but I did not always get the results I wanted. Ever since I started with TAO CrossFit, I am seeing results in my first month I am so happy that I joined this gym. They are great coaches and fun people to be around, and I found a new family.”

“Best gym in Macon! I’ve been to multiple gyms throughout Macon and the middle ga area. This beats them all by far! 24 hours key card access, friendliest people/staff, and all the equipment your heart desires. Strictly for weights and cardio which I prefer. I don’t need or want to pay extra for classes or a pool or a basketball court.”

“Of course I rarely run into a train here, unless I'm running late to pick up my kid from the high school... It was fine though only took the train about 2-3 mins, maybe, it was quick. There are just about always deer moving around out here so please use caution! Very pretty, nice, area”

“Big fan of Gorilla Strong and owner Hal. The gym is a breath of fresh air compared to corporate globo-gyms. It's gritty, functional and packed with all the freeweights, machines & bars and stuff you need. Also has plenty of room - I've never had dodge people or look for a space to do burpees and double-unders. The people that workout here are cool and the 24/7 access is the cherry on top. 5 stars, would recommend :)”
“I think FitCo Hartley Bridge Rd. Is top notch. The staff goes above and beyond, especially Rhonda. You want have a hard time finding her because she is very out going and always has a smile on her face. Equipment stays in good shape and facility is always clean. “I started this journey on February 17, 2025, but the real wake-up call came in May 2024 when I was diagnosed with early-stage Type 2 Diabetes. I made a choice right then to reclaim my health, and Brighter-Day Fitness in Macon helped me make it happen.
The stats don't lie, and the progress is real:
• Weight Loss: I went from 332 lbs down to 282 lbs—a 50 lb drop!
• The Fit: I’ve officially retired the 4X wardrobe and am now wearing 2X shirts.
• Health: I started with 5 medications and a lot of uncertainty. Today, I am OFF all 5 medications and feeling stronger than ever! 💊 ➡ 💪
