“So I was in a huge bind this morning and found a screw in my back tire. After the exhaustion of having to get my kids settled and patch this tire to drive to a place in town was a true miracle of god. I tried Milford’s first, with supplying the new tire he wanted to act like he didn’t want to fool with it and priced me at $90! Ofcourse I was not fixing to do that. So I rode into town and found this place and let me say he was amazing ! Josh! He fixed both my tires at an amazing rate and didn’t have no issue doing so. He was very friendly! And happy at what he does! I will now be an ongoing customer and will highly recommend to anybody needing this type of service! Thankyou so much for helping this mama out!!!”

“Was renting a nearby lake house and the fan-motor on our Suburban would not stop running, even when the engine was off. S&L was minutes away, diagnosed the faulty thermostat, and had us back on the road within an hour or so. They were very kind--even to Gator fan like me in UGA-country. So grateful that, if we had to have an issue, it happened nearby them.”

“I had a issue with my landing supports. They fixed me rite up. After a little delay with my company. Communication on our side with different people in our office. Brooks was very patient while my company figured out things. They got my trailer road worthy so I could get it back to the yard. Brooks handed everything very well...”

“Prices are very reasonable. Bruce always calls if they have to do something extra (they don't do anything extra unless it has to be done) & has the cost for the repair. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“5/5 stars – Doug’s Body Shop in Hartwell, GA is the real deal A deer hit my 2019 Genesis hard on a back road. Deep dent in the door, damaged fender and hood with ripples and bad paint. Dropped it off looking rough. They dealt directly with the insurance company, no back-and-forth on my end. When they had to close and head out of town, they still stepped up and covered two days of rental car costs so I wasn’t stuck. Steve kept me updated the whole time – emails, calls, solid communication. No radio silence like you get at a lot of shops. The after pics speak for themselves. Bodywork is straight, paint match is spot-on, panels flow perfect again. Looks like it never happened. Better than I expected. If you’re in the Hartwell area and your ride gets wrecked (deer, accident, whatever), take it to Doug’s. They’ll treat you right, do quality work, and actually give a damn. Saved me a massive headache. 10/10 recommend.”

“I purchased a truck in July and it was as easy and effortless as I've ever experienced! Ron had the truck ready for the test drive when I arrived, welcomed me with great hospitality, and I was in and out of with the new truck in an hour. If anyone needs a vehicle in Georgia this is the place to buy!”

“Flawless transaction for a new Silverado 2500HD that I worked with Noah on and traveled a pretty far distance to get. I was not disappointed at all! He was great along with Michael in finance. Very smooth transaction and spent maybe an hour total at the dealership. I highly recommend a visit for your next new or used vehicle.”

“These guys are some of the best mechanics I've ever come across in my life time and I've been around a lot given that I'm a mechanic as well. My wife's car broke down 60 miles from home. We had it towed there and had a great experience. - they were prompt with getting car looked at - had the car fixed the same week - fair pricing -friendliest service imaginable I couldn't recommend these guys more”

“I made use of Murdocks' oil change service at my home and I was pleasantly surprised at the convenience and ease of the transaction. I will DEFINITELY be using the service again!! The technician (Donald) was punctual, pleasant and very nice to work with. Also, the next day Kim from the service department gave me a courtesy call to check that everything went well and that I was happy and had no concerns. I have to say that the visit by Murdoch's mobile unit was a pleasure that I will be availing myself of in the future. YOU CANNOT BEAT THE CONVENIENCE OF THEIR SERVICE! Schedule the service once and you will be sold on the convenience!”

“We were driving through Royston on our way to Helen, GA. We drove past Joe’s Filling Station and decided to stop to take some photos of the nostalgic gas station. We were greeted by Joe, who shared his history with us and showed us his plaques & newspaper articles. What a great man!! We strolled the town after and of you love small American towns, this is a must visit! ??❤️”
