My husband and I cringe when we have to access our safe deposit box due to one banker, Leonora. She is the most unfriendly person we have encountered in our lives. She is condescending and downright rude. Today we went to the bank, and to our pleasant surprise, we were greeted by a smiling banker who was more than happy to assist us. I wish I got her name. Leonora needs to find a profession that does not involve any interactions with people. If it weren’t for our pleasant visit today, I would have gave one star instead of two.

my father passed away so we made an appointment at this bank that had bought their local bank. I went with my mother to Wells Fargo to have his name removed from the accounts and she was having some issues and wanted my name on her accounts. we saw a representative whose name I will withhold. He got the death certificate and did paperwork. I never saw him again there and dealt with the bank a lot by phone. And with representatives in my town. Mom remembered a safety deposit box but not which bank and all the locals had been bought by out of town big banks so we went to every bank in town asking about it. We never found it. Mom had Alzheimer’s. she passed during the pandemic. Then after all the issues had been handled and i was back in my home state (I moved Mom here) Wells Fargo suddenly finds another account…the missing safety deposit box. But now it would cost lawyers fees, drilling out a lock, travel hotel etc to resolve. Mom told them to put me on ALL her accounts. the representative was incompetent and or shady.

Can't get any business done without an appointment. Besides the tellers, they only have two or three bankers working. If people are waiting, they have no way to know who's been there longest and don't seem to care

Personally speaking, I have never had anything come up that wasn't readily fixed in an extremely timely manner. Maybe twice, if ever, have I had any situations and they were resolved quickly, professionally and courteously. I've heard the horror stories that were posted online and I addressed them with the staff. They understand that as long as we don't have any major issues I will keep my accounts with them. It appears that their staff is fighting back against all the bad press and is putting their absolute best foot forward. I can't help but recognize their efforts and will continue to do business with them.

If you want to be in a bad mood, try calling the automated phone number they provide. Speaking to a banker is impossible and your better off just driving there and wasting the gas instead of wasting your time.
