“I’m going to be very honest in this review because real experiences matter. After being rear-ended and losing a great car at one of the worst moments in my life, I was left without transportation and with no credit, so buying used was my only option. A close friend, Dora, recommended Tbird Motors in Chatsworth, GA—she’s purchased two vehicles from them—so despite some mixed reviews, I decided to give them a chance. When I walked in, I was greeted; it wasn’t the warm Southern welcome I was expecting, but they were polite and respectful.

The reason for my four-star rating comes down to customer service and attention to concerns. I raised issues about the vehicle pulling slightly to the right and visibly uneven tire wear, which clearly indicates the need for an alignment and new tires. My concerns were somewhat brushed off, suggesting low air pressure instead. I do want to acknowledge that they fixed the windshield wiper sprayer that wasn’t working. I also asked if they could clean the dull headlights; at first I was told it was something I could easily do at home, to which I replied, “Oh, so it would be an easy fix for y’all,” and they then went ahead and cleaned the headlights.

That said, I’m grateful to be back on the road and I do appreciate the opportunity Tbird Motors gave me when my options were limited. They worked with my $75-a-week budget, included taxes and tag fees, and were flexible with my down payment. While the price of the vehicle was a bit higher than what I personally feel it’s worth, I understood that it was the set price with payment options, and I agreed to it. Overall, I’m thankful for the chance they gave me, and with a bit more attention to customer concerns and follow-through on service, this could easily be a five-star experience.”
