“Revised review : MAY 2026 black American family / community owned ✊? great place for meat, spices , tea, frozen halal dinners & halal marshmallows and so much more ! Nice, clean , and polite. Would definitely ? recommend it. I haven’t been in a while because I don’t cook ? however the new MANAGER ANWAN suggested to me samosas , beef patties , gyro (silent g) . Abs most exciting I asked if they consider having grab & go meals and he said YESSSSS! Can’t wait to see what meals they have that I can grad for dinner and not have to cook! Looking forward to the new upcoming things and love your new manager that let me come in at 8:00 1 hour after closing (3 more kids came in after me ) ? he is a keeper !!!? (It’s nice to see ownership that is represented in its community) Thank you for all that you do .
*I did get that ADDICTIVE BEEF ? BACON ?, coal and chocolate ?! ❤️?????”
“A wonderful butcher shop and a great resource in the neighborhood. They carry and custom cut very high quality products so don’t compare prices to grocery store chains. Fresh Prime beef, heritage pork, sushi grade salmon and tuna. Their frozen case is extensive with foie gras, red shrimp, veal shanks, sausages, premade sides, etc. It’s hard to make a decision with all the good choices.
We recently had a Duroc pork loin and they butterflied it to perfection for us to make a porchetta . It was outstanding!
Great service and nice knowledgeable people. We are regulars and happy to support this neighborhood gem.”
“Finally a real, legit, high end butcher. Staff is totally knowledgeable, and the selections are always great. I can find something special every time. My absolute go to for beef. The pork chops are great and the airline chicken is the bomb. Scottish salmon... yes.. and the cheese selection is on point.”
“Owner was really nice. Prices a bit expensive, but they have good products. Thank you. If you are looking for Mediterranean products Alsafa Market is good stop. Thank you.”
“I came in here the first time myself the other day. The staff was very knowledgeable an extremely helpful. Not a lot of places left like this these days, with all the online ordering get a box sent to your house world we live in. But it is nice to see what you're buying in person before you buy it. Great Cuts of local farm fresh meat.”
“Went for the first time on Saturday, and I could not recommend more highly. Rusty was so helpful, and he had a great selection. We bought several things and though we've only had the brined pork porterhouse so far, I had to go ahead and write a review. It was the best pork chop we've ever eaten. So incredibly juicy and tender - will be back for more very soon. You just can't get this kind of meat at a grocery store!”
“One star less because of the difficulty getting into the dock but otherwise, very helpful people. They moved the cars that were in the way. For big rigs, pull in across the road and back in the drive. Once off the road, go check in and they will move what's needed.”
“I buy my meat from here whenever I’m in town. They have great cuts of oxtail, chicken, and other meats that will leave you questioning why you ever got your meat from anywhere else.”
“The food is so good omg… the Chicharron, tamales, the tacos, the seared whole chicken is to die for. The meat area doesn’t smell, great pricing wonderful staff. I mean all the food I’ve had has been great!”
“I've been here a few times before and have had a wonderful time shopping every time. The owner and employees are all very polite and helpful. I was able to find deshi ingredients here that I couldn't find in the Indian groceries near me.”
“I enjoy going to meat master. Whenever I have a large event I can find everything I need be it meats, fish or vegetables they have it all. They are also very friendly and greet you with a smile. I would recommend them to everyone.”
“This a great place to get meat from. I would say though these people are more whole sellers so if you are buying from here expect to get double the amount of poundage you would at a normal grocery store.”

“Always good Carnitas y and Chicken tacos and caldo de pollo y de res and salsa mmm delicious prices are the best $2 each taco but they're so full of meat 2 is enough great customer service only one cashier speak English, great place for authentic Mexican food”
“NOTE: They do not have any halal meat.
Although I didn't purchase anything it wasn't the fault of the business they were a well old machine. The meat was well presented, and while they had beef sausage (which is what I wanted) it was in a pork casing.
I specifically searched for halal grocery and this is one of the options Google provided and it was the only one open before 9am. I'm frustrated because you have to pay for parking! But like I said none of that's is the business fault. That's why I gave them a 4 star, I am leaving this review so that Google might not make this mistake again.”

“This place is AMAZING. Nice staff and you can almost find anything on these shelves. Their meat is 100% ZABIHA, so you don't have to worry about anything. Recommended to all my colleagues. I recommend it to you too.”
“I want yo send a Huge Thank You to Ethan and The whole C&S Team. On Thursday's at my place of employment. We serve hot meals and give out pantry goods to the community. As well as provide other resources. We were recently blessed with an opportunity to expand our pantry bags with some protein. I contacted several meat markets with No one willing to assist with the packaging. Ethan not only offered to package the meat so we can serve more families but he gave us an amazing price! We now have over 300lbs of meat to offer our community. As well as enough to cook more hot meals to serve. Thank you C&S and Ethan. God Bless you for taking the call. And extending your services. We will be back!”
“I ? their prepared Mexican food, especially the offal(organ meats etc) dishes.. Their Chicharrón de Res is really good!! It's one of the only places that i can get prepared pig's ear, tongue, sweetbread, kidneys, liver(and all other parts of the pig? together!”
“Picked up and was loaded very quickly. My only complaint is the tight parking lot. Definitely not made for '53 trailers. It's more like an office parking lot than a meat plant. Very tight and cars everywhere. I wouldn't recommend a trainee trying to put a trailer in the door here. Too many things to hit!”
“Good variety of Latin groceries, they had a good stock of Venezuelan Cheeses this time. They also have a small restaurant inside the store that offers food from Mexico, Venezuela and El Salvador.”
“With quality products, everything very clean and orderly. Very good service and above all it made me feel in my beloved Monterrey with that delicious sweet bread, the jalapeño peppers from La Morena. The quality vegetable. God bless you always.”
“When I was in Atlanta this grocery store was very good compared to the others. We got a good fish and meat to try during my stay 10/10 quality. One key thing is if you are Bengali like me you should try there sweets are are imported from Bangladesh. Owner and staff were sweet and helpful.”

“The service has been excellent. Just walking around and everyone on the sales floor greeted me. Today I was shopping I’m the deli department getting a sandwich.”
“While the name Kinship Butcher and Sundry might not proclaim the promise of a decent cuppa, it does serve respectable coffee. Perhaps it’s the sundry that should be more focused on in this instance. The price is even competitive with its loftier rivals. A most unexpected triumph.
The outdoor seating proves quite a delight, granting one the pleasure of observing the crisp fall air go about its business, entirely indifferent to human affairs. There is, without fail, a dog or two wandering about, each presenting itself as if auditioning for the role of “Most Pettable Creature in the County.” One perhaps oblige to that.
Should one, find oneself in need of exorbitantly priced butchered meats, the establishment hosts such wares with operatic flair, though I remain steadfastly loyal to my coffee alone, focusing on Sundry instead of the Butcher part.
The locale affords a most agreeable evening stroll through Virginia Highland at sunset. The streets glow with a warm, mellow light that suggests the world is briefly at peace. But of course, serenity is a fickle mistress.
For as darkness gathers, so too does the impending doom of the bar scene. Middle-aged revelers and collegiate youths alike emerge from the shadows, converging with the enthusiasm of soldiers charging into battle, though with considerably worse aim. Their voices swell into a great, unrestrained roar, as though each believes himself the tragic hero of his own ale soaked soliloquy.”
