“I can’t say enough about Cascades Inn. It was one of the most relaxing stops I’ve ever made and I will definitely be back. I was welcomed open arms and traveling alone. That was very special to me. Tammy chose the perfect room for me and Shawn made sure I felt welcome everyone that stayed there was congenial and we all gathered by the fire at night or by the waterfall to eat wine cheese, and tell stories. It was the icing on the cake for my trip. It gets five stars plus in my book. I hate to share it though because I wanna keep it a secret lol”

“We’ve been coming to Highlands & Cashiers for years now and Julep Farms is the spot to go for some food and top notch cocktails while the kids run around the farm. They have hills to roll down, mini horses and cows to feed. We met Rick the owner and he took the kids and ourselves on a tour and showed us all the baby ducks, the new calf and all the dogs and animals on the farm. He was tending to all the pumpkins and plants and dropped everything to make sure we had a great time.

Even though Hurricane Helene ripped through the area, all the local business would love for you to come and have your business. They are all open and ready for season.”

“Have been coming here for 20+ years, the same weekend in December. We were surprised how few customers were eating a 6:00 pm. It used to be packed, what happened?We rent the same large Chalet every year, but there was a last minute problem with the water that wouldn't be resolved by the time we got there. They made arrangements with a nearby competitor of theirs to accommodate us. It was a great facility, but we prefer our usual Chalet!”

“I been to this hotel and I had an amazing experience as it has a very nice sunrise and sunset view from the room with a beautiful view of mountains. In early morning you see clouds near and around mountains that is the best view I had even seen. It is a great family stay. I appreciate the owners of the hotel that that they improved the property with good rooms. I would recommend this hotel for a family stay with quiet atmosphere and very friendly staff.”
