“They have people in here (John) who can tell you where anything is and how many they have. You only find that in small towns these days, where everything is online. Im old school I prefer to look at it and visually see if it will work. Thank you that.”
“I live in Good Hope an hour away but do work in Comer often. When I do I always come in to buy whatever i know i need or will need. You wont find a local hardware store with better prices. Ive been to them all and Southern Hardware I leave always feeling like i got a steal of a deal. The workers and owner are always kind. Today i got a drill. The owner and me went thru and he showed me
Which ones come with what hardware and for tight spots the new drills that you can move to make right angle to get where you need to get. Left with two drills and batteru and charger for 99$.”
“Athens best kept secret! Awesome selection at amazing prices! The ones running the store were super helpful and very knowledgeable.
Don't let the appearance fool you. It may look dated but they have some of the latest products available. The selection is massive! Hard to find items were there in abundance!
It reminds me of my home town hardware store, I've missed it so much and this place made me feel right at home.
Can't wait to get back there for materials for my next project. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else any time soon!”
“The staff goes OVER and beyond to ensure that you are a satisfied customer. They are locally owned and operated, very personal, and their prices are very reasonable! I was very indecisive, however they were patient and more than willing to guarantee that my buying experience was pleasurable. Thank you so much for the awesome service”
“Everyone seems to only leave reviews on a negative experience! Very rarely on a job well done. I must leave a positive review with an overwhelming desire from an associate at East Athens GA location (store # 2204). I remember the associates name somehow. His name was Ronnie. I won't bore everyone with the details of our encounter other than stating a few facts. Ronnie was polite at our 1st interaction, willing to help without judgement, helpful, did an excellent job with cutting a piece of custom sized glass , small talk about colleges attended, packaged the glass securely and very safe to prevent getting cut accidentally. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience. I've gotten excellent service from this location on multiple visits. That's why store (2204) is my go to store on pool supplies, lawn and garden, appliances, home improvement, power tools, etc... Just wanted to give all the team at Store #2204 on a job well done! Keep up the excellent service!”
“We went in late, but before closing, (about 30
minutes) to get some paint for my daughter and her friends to paint designated parking places for Seniors at my daughter’s school. Carrie was extremely helpful, professional, and thorough in explaining the paints and resources we needed.”
