“I found a small kitten by the on ramp to the hwy off exit 9. She had just gotten hit by a car. I took her to Companion Animal Hospital before they were open and saw a lady walking a dog. She ran in and opened the door for me. Within seconds the ladies had taken the kitten in to see the Dr and the Dr had started treatment dealing with the kittens pain and trauma.
Kitty will heal and be good to go thanks to the immediate action by these amazing people!

“I was one of Dr. Wayne Brubaker's first clients when he opened the practice in Winterville. Many times he went above and beyond by meeting us at the clinic at 10:00 p.m. Since Dr. Brubaker sold the practice to Dr. Cole the quality of excellent service I always received is still that - quality service. Over the years I would not trust my fur babies (I have had seven) to anyone else but WAC. A couple of times I had to take my Maggi to the UGA small animal ER because it was after the WAC's normal hours. I was impressed with them. They helped my Maggi get through some tough times until I could get her into WAC. The entire WAC staff has never shown anything but care and compassion. (I must admit I have been told my Maggi was a favorite at the clinic.) My precious little girl was 16 on Sept. 21 then I had to give her up on Oct. 1. Dr. Emily Parsons cried with me as I held my Maggi in my arms wrapped in one of her favorite blankeys. My heart shattered into a thousands pieces when she went to sleep then began her journey to cross the Rainbow Bridge and to see her Daddy. I know my Larry has a heavenly body but Maggi will know her Daddy. I am aware WAC charges for an emergency visit but it was worth it because I knew my Maggi would have the best care. After all, don't we humans have to pay extra for a visit to the hospital's ER? Please ignore the negative ratings I see on here. I don't' have a clue as to why anyone can post a negative rating on here.”

“I had my Great Dane at UGAVTH for surgery on his eye. The vets and the students (especially the students) were great to deal with and did a phenomenal job. Communication was great. They kept me up to speed on everything going on with my dog throughout his stay. I have dealt with the large animal side of the facility many times over the last 40 years and have always felt that my animals got the best care possible. This is my first experience with the small animal side and was very pleased with the care here as well. I would recommend UGA to anyone.”

I was on time for a 2;30pm appointment
I waited an hour beyond my scheduled appointment time to get my 2 animals checked out. Days earlier I had called more than once to make sure all was good for my appointment
I wasn't sure what the issues were. Seemed to me poor scheduling.
This was my very first appointment.
I really do want to establish a positive relationship with my local vet.”
