“This is by far, the most diverse place I ever been. Depends on what night you show up will determine what or whom the body's higher power will be. I've been here on a night where satan was everyone's higher power....I even showed on the wrong night when it became gay a instead of AA...the rainbow warriors must've been recruiting that night. I respectfully declined. My point being here is that if anyone is willing to work and grow you will definitely always get something beneficial from going here....I've never walked away from here dissatisfied or disappointed. Helen P. was always my person of choice here. It works if you work it.....”

“This facility has the perfect name, "The Columbus DREAM Center." It's a DREAM come to for many. We GIVE clothes, hot meals, and groceries to the less fortunate every 3rd Saturday. There is absolutely no charge. It's a wonderful feeling and a blessing to volunteer to help someone in need.”

“I had a stray dog that was coming to my house every morning for a week. I eventually feed him and took him to paws to see if he had a chip. He did and he was prior fostered by someone else. He was so mannerable and done so well inside my home. I decided to be a foster parent and took him home! The staff was absolutely awesome and everyone remembered him! He was treated for fleas and ticks that day. They supplied me with food and information concerning any issues may come up. He has been with me for 14 days as of yesterday! 😊”

“Great meeting room rental experience! Staff was VERY understanding & accommodating. We used it for an hour on Tuesday nights, for several weeks Also used my YMCA membership...I love their wide range of class selection & times! Classes are well attended. The entire YMCA is vibrant & energetic. And I brought a 91 year old lady to Silver Sneakers classes. Everybody - both the instructor & the other attendees - made her very welcome & comfortable in the class! I also love that this YMCA is downtown. Great views driving across the river in the early morning...the downtown is still sleepy but waking up... And after class there's good coffee nearby & all the other shops services I need.”

“Valley Rescue Mission will always hold a special place in my heart. In 2018, when my life was broken by addiction and I had lost almost everything, this ministry opened its doors to me and showed me the love of Christ. They didn’t just give me a place to stay—they helped me rebuild my life, restore my faith, and believe that God still had a purpose for me.”
