“This is the only Family Dollar I go to. Mrs Linda takes pride in the store and always greets you with a smile. She keeps it clean and it looks great after the recent renovations!”
“Don't get me wrong this is one of my favorite Dollar trees to go to seeing how I used to work at the one on East mockingbird the main reason I go to the stores because the old manager she was really really sweet and kind and I really liked her now there is a cashier there that's a blonde young lady she's a sweetheart she is a really good cashier and she's sweet last time we went to the store it was really bad because there was boxes everywhere you couldn't even go down the aisles and I'm thinking do they not have a team that does their exhibits at night cuz they don't have any exhibits at the end of their aisles like all other Dollar trees that you go to they have a people that come in at night and do the end of the aisles with display I was mad because I went in there after I had spine surgery and I had to use a walker well there was so much stuff on the aisles and there was a guy that worked there that wouldn't even move out of my way and I'm like excuse me sir he's like oh I'm stalking I said I understand but I'm a customer I'm trying to purchase stuff and you won't move from in front of me but nevertheless I was okay with everything I just wonder why there's so many boxes and why they don't have a display team to do all the stocking at night after hours”
“This dollar tree is the best in Columbus they have good service here if you need help and they always have stuff in stock and always have cash registers open good place to go.”
“It is good and the economy is notable, but there is insufficient merchandise in the refrigerators. Sometimes they have limited staff and I don't know why they don't have bilingual staff. They must improve. Although it still projects economy.”

“The prices aren’t a really a dollar anymore and I feel they should change the name. However the employees were really nice, the store was very clean and it smelled good. The only this is there was a little girl who got a complement while my daughter was not acknowledged, probably cause that child was white.most white customers got a welcome in while blacks did not. Other than that the store was nice”
“The only shortcoming of this store is that it sits on a divided street and can be a little inconvenient to get in and out if you're in a hurry. The cashier called me Boo, so it's all good.”

“We come here a lot as it's on our way to my daughter's dance class from school and we're usually rushing and picking up something quick we forgot. The ladies working have always been super nice and the store is well stocked. It would be helpful to have a self check out or second cashier as it usually gets busy for the one cashier.”
“This store is actually on the Southside of Columbus and it's huge very clean and organized. And the Manager and employees was so nice and helpful. She seen that I had on Georgia Bulldog apparel and let me know that they had Georgia merchandise available in the store. Looks wayy better than the store on my side of town.”
“I am somewhat familiar with the layout of Cusseta Road Dollar General Store, which helped this particularly short visit. I was stopping in to pick up a couple of items for someone else, and the employees were very helpful and friendly when I needed their assistance. This is usually the case when I choose to shop in any Dollar General convenience store!”

“I stopped by the Family Dollar in Columbus recently, and it was a good experience overall. The store was organized and easy to get around, and the shelves were well-stocked with a nice variety of items. The cashier was friendly and quick to help, which made checkout smooth.
The only downside was that the parking lot and entrance area could’ve been a little cleaner, and the store felt a bit warm inside. Still, everything I needed was in stock and at great prices.
Overall, it’s a convenient stop for quick shopping, and the staff make the visit pleasant!”

This location is much better than the other ones nearby! It is large, very clean, and extremely well-organized. Unlike the store closer to me, this one does not have any outdated items on the shelves. Everything is new, fresh, and they have a really great collection of products.
The Staff:
The team here is very friendly and professional. It makes a big difference when the staff is welcoming and the store is well-managed.
Overall:
I would much rather drive the extra mile to come to this location than go to the one right next to me. If it wasn't for this specific store, I wouldn't even bother shopping at Dollar General. Highly recommended!”
“Marcus is always so extremely friendly and professional when I come to this location. He even had some elegant gentle sounds playing for our enjoyment. I joked with Marcus and said this is how you keep customers shopping longer with this amazing music?lol He stated No ma’am. I love to see Marcus when he works because he is the ONLY employee who even acknowledges my presence, and no one ever ask do you need help!”

“I don't normally shop at Family Dollar simply because it's not convenient. But I stopped at one today after an appointment. You have to give the store a big shout out for it's low prices on name brand cleaning products, paper products. A lot of their stuff is cheaper than Walmart's prices. There wasn't a long wait at checkout. The employees were very and helpful. They actually asked if I needed help finding anything. I've never got that in a Walmart store before!”

“This is a nice store. They have everything you need. I really like the 1.00 selection of items. I have noticed that a lot of Family Dollar stores carry similar items to Dollar Tree. I always stop at this store when I am in town visiting my mom. She has been a regular shopper at this store since they opened. The staff is always kind and treats you Ike family.. They always greet you and make you feel wanted. They seem to have a great manager at this store because it is clean and the products are stocked. I will be in town next month for my moms birthday I am sure she will take me to Family Dollar everyday lol it seems to meet all of her shopping needs and wants.. Family Dollar is becoming better and better every year they have grown a lot and I love the gadgets they also have. Picked me up an awesome light up Bluetooth speaker. I also shop at the Family Dollar in my town and look for great values and buys. I buy a lot of the frozen food that is a 1.00 down freezer section they have an awesome selection when it just a couple or a single person. I will shop at this Family Dollar and my mom will continue to be a faithful customer.. Thanks for being such a great store. There clearance isle is also a must shop area in Family Dollar store. Hope this review is helpful for anyone wanting to go to this store.”
“It has occurred to me that when we experience customer service that goes above and beyond the company's expectation as well as the customers', there is not a way to acknowledge the employee who really should be given praise for her OUTSTANDING customer service there are plenty of websites to file a complaint but I could not find where to notify a regional manager or human resources about an employee who went above and beyond the requirements of her job as a cashier at Dollar General on Victory Dr. In Columbus Ga. She sincerely cares about the safety of the customera leaving her store at closing time. I was taking an Uber when I left right at closing time. She immediately appeared concerned when she noticed I wasmt driving. She walked me outside after I told her I didn't need to wait inside. A couple minutes after she went back in, she came back out to inform me I had left an item I had just purchased at the register. When I came inside, she inquired as to the whereabouts of my ride and wanted t know what kind of vehicle. This might seem a little intrusive except for the fact that the location of this particular store is not in a very safe area of the city, and like she pointed out, I am a female alone holding my wallet in my hands. She even added that it was more important that I'd be safe than she clocked out on time. Despite the fact that she was a young woman who was done her shift, she had absolutely no problem waiting until I was able to get my ride and be safely on my way home, before starting her closing routine. So when I came back in for my item that I left I ended up waiting inside the store, per her request, and she locked the front doors and was watching out for my Uber. When it was time to leave she double-checked that I had the right vehicle and she walked me out. I will not add her name on here, but she closed the Victory Dr store on Wed night. I strongly believe that Dollar general or any business for that matter, is a better more customer friendly, safer, and welcoming place because of her. What she offers to Dollar General as an employee cannot be taught or trained. It is my opinion that she should be considered for a management position as other employees should look to her as an example of how to treat the customers of Dollar General as well as making it a safe and welcoming place to go late at night, without being too concerned about the side of town that the store is located on. Thank you for being such a caring wonderful woman, and an awesome cashier!”
“This is my FAVORITE DG in Columbus!! I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The ladies are always very sweet and knowledgeable. They're helpful, the store is neat. The lines may get backed up for a little bit but never anything too long and most times it's out of their hands. I just love it here, I shop at this store maybe 3 times a week or more because of the convenience. I can always count on them being open for my last minute needs and even if they're working a major holiday, they do it with a smile!! These ladies deserve a raise so corporate I hope that you read these reviews by your customers and act accordingly! ? Keep up the great work guys!!”
