“I visited on 3/13/26. I couldn’t find some items I needed at a couple of other DT stores so I thought I’d try here. The reviews weren’t great so I didn’t have high hopes. But I found exactly what I needed and the employee who rang me up was wonderful! It was very busy but she had such a great attitude. I’ll definitely be back!”
“There is an excellent employee at this Family Dollar, store #24666, located on Gateway Dr. in Phenix City, AL. Her name is Tiffany. I don’t know Tiffany’s role at the store, but if it isn’t “manager,” it should be. “District manager” may even be the position for her. This evening, Tiffany stood out and above the rest. She did something that no other employee out of the 12 different Family Dollar stores from Buena Vista Rd in Columbus, GA to Gateway Dr in Phenix City, AL, would do! She did something so rudimentary and uncomplicated, yet essential and, in my opinion, crucial to the business being in business! I was hitting dead end after dead end searching FD stores for a product my home desperately needs because every other employee of every single FD store could not (their choice), would not, and did not ANSWER THEIR TELEPHONE- you know, the business landline. It is only the connection between the business’s customers outside, looking to spend $$ on the products inside the store, whereby employees are paid $$ to sell these products for $$!! Tiffany, understands this, and she answered! And she was pleasant and she was knowledgeable about the products she sells. In the “glory days” of my generation, answering the business’s telephone and the customer’s questions was rudimental- instinctual, even. Back then, answering the telephone wouldn’t have warranted a review. But, we are not back then. We’re not even close! I wish we had a Tiffany at the FD that’s 1/4 of a mile down the street from my home. I want to thank you, Tiffany, for your sublime work ethic, for assisting me, the customer, with my silly questions and for taking the time to simply ANSWER THE TELEPHONE!! Your store is lucky to have you!!! Best of luck to you 😊”

“This store seems to stay fairly decent. The lines are usually atrocious and long, with only one register going. It's convenient having it so close to the house though.”
“I Doordash and I visit 4 or 5 Dollar Generals in a shift. This store is always good. Employees helpful and store is always clean. Teri is there behind the register most days when I go and that girl makes a difference.”

“Good selection of stuff. Roomy parking lot. Easy access. Good location. Friendly service. Only thing is its a bit messy. But they had a good selection of everything that I overlook that.”
“Store was clean but a bit disorganized, Isles go east to west and north to south in a compact size store making finding things a little tricky. Having helpful employees was a plus. They had some fantastic sales on toys so I got 2 nice birthday toys, 2 Birthday cards, tape and wrapping paper for under $40.00!”

“They actually had products on all the shelves! Unlike Dollar General because the shelves at the Dollar General on highway 80 and the store on Mullins Road need to go out of business!”

“My kids love this store due to it having all the snack. DG makes my life easy because they have good meals for my late night jobs.Customer service is good, but can use more cashiers. When I come by shelves are stock w/ supplies. If rainbow don’t have it DG has it ..maybe..”
“They've just remodeled and it looks really nice it's very clean inside and they got a new Sub-Zero refrigerators in there and it's very nice you should try it out.”

“This is the best Dollar Tree in this area. The biggest and the shelves are always full. We originally went to the other one on 280 because it's closer, but shelves were bare and they didn't have anything we needed.
I know this job isn't the best, but thank you all for keeping up with your store and keeping it clean. You all are doing a great job.”
