Publix on Macon Road is huge & beautiful, just a bit far. The one on Vets Pkwy is great & they have drive thru prescription pick-up. Stay away from the one on Shomburg Road. They have very few people in each of the departments or aisles. There was quite a line because of the lack of cashiers, and there was even less baggers. Bottom Line: Bradley Park Square is great and will do their best to accommodate you, other locations vary.”

I asked the gentleman behind the counter for something substantial that could handle intense, prolonged heat without drying out, and he immediately knew how to deliver. He pulled out a prime cut that was remarkably well-marbled, firm to the touch, but had just the right amount of give when pressed. The sheer size was impressive—easily enough to satisfy two people, though taking down the entire thing solo is tempting if you have the stamina. Preparation requires a delicate touch: a generous rubdown, letting it warm up to room temperature first, and not rushing the process. Once it hit the smoking cast iron, the sizzle was immediate and intense. After resting it properly so none of the natural juices escaped, cutting into it revealed pure tenderness from edge to edge. Lumpkin Rd store about a week ago and had an issue with pricing on an item, The SM wasn't there that day, but I spoke with one of the Assistants, but to no avail. The actual store manager called me the next day and she immediately rectified the situation, with precision and poise! She went above and beyond to make it right, ensuring that her customer was taken care of. In addition, I want to give a shout out to the Deli Department, the food is great, and they are very nice! Also, I visited the store again yesterday to get some chilled fruit, I didnt catch his name but a gentleman was stocking items in another department and I asked could he tell me where I could find the chilled fruit, and he immediately stopped what he was doing and walked me right to it, that was awesome!”

My prayers were answered yesterday because I didn't know if they were open or not sure enough they were 6/12/25 I wanted vegetables and sure enough they had a vegetable plate for $10 I have the dressing cabbage lima beans and rice with gravy and of course I had their cornbread which is to die for best cornbread ever being from California we like our cornbread a little on the sweet side and that is the style that they offer man is that cornbread delicious I can't get enough of that cornbread I mustn't forget that the oxtails are delicious as well they have an oxtail special for $9 you get a couple of pieces of oxtails and some rice and I made that my lunch for today can't wait to make the rest of the girls jealous.. not really jealous but it'll get them to go down to Rogers restaurant and enjoy some good food for themselves they are having a re-grand opening on the 21st of June 2025 hope to see you out there”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
