“I recently had a frustrating experience with Hertz when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, only to be told that it was not available. I was also told that my reservation had been cancelled, even though I had not cancelled it and had confirmed with the third-party booking agent that the reservation was still active.
That said, I want to recognize the phenomenal customer service I received from Lex and Clarence. They took the time to see and acknowledge the issue, work alongside me, and find a resolution. Without their efforts, I would have been left without a vehicle.
Things happen. The ball gets fumbled. But what matters most is the recovery—and the way people treat you when things go wrong.
