I had a customer service issue, but the manager resolved it promptly. Because of the manager’s speedy response, I must give a five star review. The woman in the paint department saw me looking for assistance and acted as if she was too busy to help me. She never once asked me if I needed assistance, although I smiled at her and waved for help. She seemed annoyed that I was in her section, and it was clear that she was not eager to help. After about 10 minutes, the lady came to tell me she was noticing anymore paint tonight and that she was going home. I was shocked that she had seen me in the department trying to get her attention, just to tell me she would not be mixing anymore paint. The manager, Omar, spotted me and asked me if I needed assistance. I told him about my experience with the older woman, and he stopped what he was doing to mix my paint. He apologized for the woman’s behavior, and discounted my items. If I had not run into Omar, the Home Depot in Covington would have missed out on a sale yesterday.

Extremely long wait! Took forever to fulfill my Curbside order. 10 minutes after confirming the order had been fulfilled, prompted to go to Customer Service desk.

[Enough Workers Doing Not Enough] I Requested for Shears to cut shrubs and was transferred to the tool rental department. Then to the customer service desk. This lady was nice, assured me that she was looking for a solution each time I was transferred back, which by the way occurred four more times. At about 8 minutes of holds and transfers , tool rentals picked up and to my request mentioned and reiterated after my other questions that quote, “There are no cutting tools in our department, Go online to see if there are any tools that can help you with your project”. Right before the call ended, I reached the rental page only to have the problem I started with; knowledge of the most current number of available cutting tools for rental

My favorite home depot. I have only had one bad interaction with one employee here and I hate that I didn't get his name, so I could notify headquarters or management. Mike in the garden center is the most perfect and nicest person I have ever interacted with in the garden center. So, ask for Mike

6/8/24 update: The employees at this Home Depot are still helpful. However, today I saw three customers that had their dogs (not service dogs) with them. And one of the dogs started AGGRESSIVELY BARKING at me???!
I give letting dogs in the store (that are not service dogs) 1 star. Home Depot should offer us customers (that don’t have dogs with them) spray bottles of ammonia or a BIG stick; to PROTECT ourselves.
If you have questions, and want knowledgeable answers and outstanding customer service; this is the Home Depot you want to go to. The employees speak when you come in the door, and there are always employees on the floor willing to help you.

This location is better than the Conyers location, but the parking lot seems too small. Like most Home Depots it can be hard to find an employee when you need help, but all in all it's a good place.
