“Decent gas station, not super sketchy, my only issue is the layout. Minimal room and parking, as it is the first thing on the corner of a four lane and the harbor of Darien. Around noon on busy weekends and shrimping/fishing season get pretty chaotic here”

“We were evacuating Florida from hurricane Milton. We ended up stopping at the Friendly Express Shell station, the staff namely Drew, JJ, Dawn,and so many more were so helpful. Drew actually gave us a jump start after we accidentally left the ignition on in our truck. Thank you so much to all the staff”
“The gas prices were way too high, about 40 cents higher than other stations. I made sure not to go to any gas stations labeled diesel in their ads after that. But they did leave cat food out on the sidewalk for the cats. There was a plump tabby, a cat with a huge puffy tail that looked like a fox and a black cat with a huge scar. Also there was a nice spot in back where we could close our eyes and take a little snooze, so that was nice.”

“It looks crazy on the outside, but they remodeled the inside. They are baking up fresh biscuits in there, and the whole food situation is good. Check them out if you are in the area, nice folks, and clean restrooms too.”
