“I have just changed back over to Walgreens, I was a long time customer with them. My regular pharmacy I have been using has had some issues and some other things I not pleased with so I have swapped over to Walgreen again to give the another try and second chance. SO, Got a call yesterday out of the blue from my pharmacist Miss Ashton, just to check on me and see how I was doing with my medication and the new dosage. Which wowed me!!! Because , I have never had a pharmacist Call me to just check on me. Made me feel good to know they cared. Then today my daughter had an issue getting some important medication that she needed for my my grandson seizures and pharmacy she was using was my said old pharmacy they told her they could not fill it or insurance would not approve until Saturday. Her dosage for her son was uped and changed from dosage he was currently on so it should approve it. Because that usually how insurance works, she said mom she tried put it in said want go through till Saturday He will be out by then and they cant even get the new rescue spray medication at thos pharmacy they said the doctor ordere eaither for him to have. So I told her let's go talk with my pharmacy AT Walgreens So thats exactly what we did cause remind you its Tuesday my grandson be out of meds by Saturday he has have it. They done up the dosage cause he done had epilepsy seizure last week. So we go in and I talk with Anna explain to her what was told to my daughter. I asked her if doctor up the dosage from what his original prescription was does insurance not pay for it. She said USUALLY IT DOES IF IT OVER RIDES. meaning it has to be over ride and the insurance company has to be called and explained that the prescription was changed to higher dosage, and the child will run out before it can be filled. HOWEVER, when Anna put the information Into the system and the new dosage amount the way the doctor wrote it up and took the time to see if it would go through as it said, it was covered and insurance said it would pay. Also said that they could possibly get the rescue spray that this spray is very rare. But if they cant they will help find some one that can. EVERYONE AT THE COUNTER WITH US WAS VERY HELPFUL VERY KIND, VERY PROFESSIONAL DID NOT PUSH US AWAY, DID NOT MAKE US FEEL UNWANTED, OR AS IF WE WAS A BOTHER, HELPED US IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. When we left, we left happy, and my daughter left knowing her son was going have his medication tomorrow and if they cant get it they will find a Walgreens that can.
