They lady said they seen ants coming in so they sprayed but it was ants all over my property it was so disgusting they started crawling on me, my toddler, my uncle, my sister and friend. I filled a claim but haven’t heard anything since i have videos and pictures it’s so disgusting.

Their team is the best Debra and Brandy are excellent. Big shout out to the other lady too. When u need a truck or storage that location is the best choice. I’m saying this from experience. They really have the best customer service. I will give them 100 stars if I can.

As an U-Haul "INVESTOR," I am GREATLY disappointed! Approximately a year ago I gifted U-haul with a payment for a bill a little over $1400 (2 trucks (6 days) + storage). Had a little trash, however, there was no place "dump" it, so I put it in a neat pile next to the facility. The next day, I am deducted ANOTHER $100!😂 Now my property is stored, and the bill is on "autopay." I am a "public" figure, so sometimes malicious attempts are made on my financial accounts (once successfully). To safeguard, if/when many of my accounts are "hit for payment" an alert is sent to me via text and/or email for my approval. Once I SEE it, I approve. For THIS place, that was NOT understood. The finale was, upon me being notified that an attempt to use my information to file taxes, my accounts were "heavily" restricted. Upon notice that "a" payment was not made, I informed the entities that there were no worries, payment was forthcoming. THIS facility had NO EMPATHY and charged me "late" fees!🤔 GOD FORBID if I would have been on another CONTINENT, as I was immediately after my initial rental in 2023.😨 To "top it off," the dumpster that I couldn't find in 2023, was INSIDE! Found it this time while moving to another facility. Had some blankets that were stored for a year, so I trashed them. Upon walking away, a malafide order came via walkie-talkie, for me to remove the TRASH from the TRASHCAN!🤔 As a Criminology major, I simply replied in the most calmest voice: "Call the Police," which she did not. But I guess as an investor, I should be happy.🙄

Even with a two week advanced booking, they did not have my reserved vehicles at my chosen pickup location. Made me travel 40 minutes out of my way to pick up reserved trailer elsewhere. Then I had to argue the price because it was much higher than my booking price. Terrible experience and waste of time. Zero social distancing and no masks, even after doing online check-in and wearing a mask myself. Shame on U-Haul for not taking service and COVID seriously.

My rental experience at this location has been horrible. It took a long time just to pick up the cargo van. The van that was initially reserved for me apparently smelled like gas, so I was switched to another van which happened to be reserved for another customer. They ended up giving her another vehicle (she was not happy), but this process took 45 minutes. The charges on my final receipt do not add up, and I've been getting the run around for 2 days about this which is pissing me off. The rental charge does not add up AND I was charged an EZ fuel sales charge for no reason! The gallon was at 7/8 when I took the van and I brought it back on full (by accident). Why is it that they are quick to take money from your account but slow in resolving issues with charges? Now I have to come back up here again tomorrow since the manager and person who entered the charges are not available. I live 20 minutes away. I should not be inconvenienced for their mistake. I will never rent from this location again.

this was a horrible experience. i was scammed at u-haul douglasville ga. i never left douglasville ga!!!. on july 30th went to get u-haul. drove back home. 4.7miles. went to. douglasville sanitation to dump things we weren't taking to u-haul storage. 0.7miles ×2.... truck stayed in driveway overnight full of furniture all night! on juky 31st - back to u-haul the next day. got out of truck went into u-haul. a women ran up to me and said "all set!" i had to walk over to the counter to ask about mileage and final fees. like she was tryna rush me out. never asked me if i wanted to pay cash or continue with my amer. express payment. walked over to the counter to. see my final charges on paper. the most rude and docile employee was behind that counter. once i saw that i was charged for driving over 100 miles i was very annoyed! first off... the truck was a piece a trash. the gears were off. in between gears i had to drive! and the gas gauge did not register the gas properly. the whole dashboard was off!! we put 16 back in tank to bring it back to full. how did i drive 103 miles and only had to put back $16 to fill up a truck? that was my first time putting in gas!! also. i complained out loud and told them they were scamming me. the women in all these pics u see of u-haul on hwy 5 - had the same goofy smirk on her face. as if she could care less. she then handed me a 1800 corporate office number. i then left upset without my money....went outside with my friend. he was talking with another employee. outside i was still complaining about how we were being treated......meanwhile....u-haul inside the building decided to call douglasville police on me. mind you. we had a right to be upset. being charged all those miles we did not travel. the officer showed up. he said simular happened to him and his wife.. they rented and had to pay for a cracked windshield they did not brake. he suggested in the future to take pics of dashboard and inside & outside of truck. the u-haul employee talking to my friend. told him... "this happens often we have no control over the trucks we get. just call corporate office most likely you will get a refund".... really?! so they know this is common?...but they called police on me for complaining about what happens often? the officer was a good guy. i must say. i am a women of color. that could have went any way. trust. not sure if any white people complaining about mileage got police called on them. u-haul you have violated my civil rights. my job is to send this complaint to corporate office.which i did. also to the attorneys general office and bbb, and any other official agencies that deal with these kind of complaints. horrible customer service and horrible trucks. i want my money, u-haul on hwy5 in douglasville ga. i'm not backing down. fair is fair.

I used this location to rent a pickup. They posted a charge on my visa for $80.00 and told me that the credit of $44.96 would immediately be applied once I returned the truck. They did not apply the credit when I did return the truck. I called them numerous times and they would put me on hold and then hang up. I finally got to speak to someone and they said the credit would take 3 - 5 days which is not what they told me when I rented the truck. If they are not going to tell the truth then I would not use them. I would stay far away from this location. Only use them if you are willing to lose your money!!!

Last year, I used this very same location and had a bad experience. After calling it in the 1-800 number, the agent immediately took care of the situation and gave me a voucher that pretty much paid for our moving truck. Because of that, I decided to give this store another try and I was not disappointed. We picked up the truck on a Saturday afternoon and returned it within the next 24 hours. The employees were very friendly and accomodating, and the guy that took back the truck from us was also very pleasant. The store was clean and the trucks were good as well. The only thing I wish can change is the mpg their trucks have!! We had a 17'' and that big boy guzzled 7 miles to a gallon! whew!! but other than that, I highly recommend! It's right off the exit ... avoid pick up/drop off around rush hour since their location can be hard to get to during those times. Happy moving!!
