Worst company ever! My incident happened on December 2022, but I was able to file a claim on February because of their system glitch and after that they reassigned my case four times without informing me. When I was calling for update, then only I get to know that it was reassigned and for the last two adjustors I could not even reach them. I have lost all my belongings and they also did the inspection for the damage and after that when it is time for them to give my coverage they just ghosted! Every time I call it goes to their voice mail and they never called me back. I have been calling for the last 3 weeks now and still have not received a call back after numerous messages were left. This is unacceptable!

Trying their hardest to scam you. Will straight up lie to you if you tell them a situation involving a mistake in their system. Eventually got my phone covered but for about a week of back and forth between T-Mobile and Assurant, neither knew what was going on and neither of them were telling the truth. Very bad experience, just glad they finally covered it as they should have in the first place.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I filed a claim on December 26th and I have only spoke with the adjuster one time which was January 3rd. I have been calling for the last 4 weeks now and still have not received a call back after numerous messages were left. This is unacceptable.

This company sent me the wrong phone and they told me in order for me to get the correct phone I have to go buy a box and ship them the replacement phone that was incorrect and then I will receive the CORRECT phone 2 days later. I was not compensated for any of this if anything I spent more money then I needed to. They don’t care, the company said it was their fault they sent the wrong phone and now I’ll be going 6 days without a phone due to the fact that they were not able to read what phone needed to be shipped. Smh if this is an insurance company then I suggest you buy a new phone then file a claim. At least then you won’t have to deal with a refurbished phone that they fixed. I’ve never been the one to leave a review but this is ridiculous

I was supposed to receive my device the next day, but it came 2 days later. Other than that great customer service. I really did not like being 2 days without a phone. I wish that you all would have emailed me to tell me what the problem was with my old phone. Glad to have my new refurbished phone that works great. Thanks Assurant.

Thought I had a screen protector...but I didn't. I have a buddy that can replace the screen, but the cost was so much (almost $200) that US Cellular suggested I check on the insurance. The deductible was $100, so it was a "deal". Assurant was very easy to work with. I filed online and they sent the replacement phone out right away. It took about 3 days to get the phone from the time I filed. US Cellular helped transfer everything (with only a minimal amount of lost info; mainly in passwords and non-important account stuff) and then I just mailed out my old broken phone in less than 2 weeks from starting the entire process. I even called and spoke with a representative on the phone before returning my old phone and he was very helpful. I don't give out too many 5 stars ratings, but I have nothing bad to say about this entire process. (Other than maybe $100 deductible is a little high, but I have fixed screen now...)

Cracked the screen on my phone, filed a claim on the web, was immediately told my claim was approved and a replacement was overnighted to me, so far so good. It looked like a brand new version of my original, same color and everything. But then I noticed the hard press Home button would press with the lightest touch even on the hardest setting. This was not acceptable so I sent it back. Return shipping was free, and once they saw it on the way back they overnighted another phone to me. This time all seems to be functioning perfectly, only gripe is I sent them a black phone and they sent me a grey one. Oh well, functionality is more important than color so now I have a like new grey phone.I have no complaints about any part of my experience with this company, other than they should test the phones they send out more thoroughly.

I most say it started out hectic for the first week because they (Assurant) typed in the wrong address and without notifying me about the error they (Assurant) requested that my device be sent back to them so that was one week that pass without no form of communication with them saying they sent it back, do I still want the phone, or even if they could update my address to beings though that was why they request the phone to be sent back. Honestly if it wasn't for ups giving me the update I would've never known. So I called them and they had the wrong address and instead of me having to wait 2 day's or 3 day's my phone got shipped the next day thru FedEx and I received my phone in the morning time.If it wasn't for lack of communication I would give you guy's a better review but communication is the key to everything and you guy's failed at that. Also the customer service representatives was great so that's the reason for the 3 stars because you guy's sent my phone thru FedEx, I got it the next day, and because the representatives was great.. I mean I understand you guy's have numerous of customers but it takes a few seconds to go out your way especially since it was you guy's fault..

Horrible service. They sent my replacement phone through FedEx. When I arrived home I tracked my package and FedEx had given my phone to someone else. It was signed for by someone with a different first name initial than me and who misspelled my last name. I went back and forth between FedEx and Assurant. Both telling me to contact the other each employee told me differently. Finally Assurant informed me that if FedEx loses my item or gives it away that Assurant is no longer responsible for following up and ensuring I receive a replacement phone. I lost so many hours and days waiting on this phone that never came. This was the worst waste of time and money I've ever had. I wasted money on the insurance, on paying the premium for the replacement, on purchasing the replacement case for a phone I never got. Not to mention the hours I lost trying to explain a situation they did not understand and whey they did it was over 10days later and they were unapologetically rude and unhelpful.

I want to give Assurant a good rating but I can't. The phone that they sent my wife was worse than the one she was turning in. We couldn't even use it at all. Then when we called to report the phone that they sent was bad, and we needed a phone that work's, the rep said we had to wait 24 hours for a return slip to be generated and once they got the phone back they will send another. I know that might be policy, but thank goodness her phone is still operational because we still have not received a phone and I sent the order on 10/01/2019. Its been 10 days and still no phone. Service is usually good, but this time it's very poor. Thanks Assutant!

I accidentally broke the screen on my phone. Did not ask to use my insurance because I believed the deductible would be too high. I was wrong. $10 deductible was all. By the time I filed the claim until I receive my phone what's 2 days. I couldn't believe it when FedEx pulled up. The Associates on staff we're very pleasing to talk to and extraordinary professional. I cannot thank you enough for your excellent service

I have 3 sons, and from their teenage years to early 20's I have had 6 phones replaced. I have learned that the quickest way is to call as soon as your phone is broken. Pay the deductible, and you'll get a replacement within 24hrs. Except Sunday I think, but that might have changed. If your phone model is out of stock they will send an upgraded replacement. Refurbished but that's fine with me. My youngest (17) broke his LG7 64GB and they sent him the LG8 128GB. He couldn't be happier.

First I was sent a used scratch up phone.I sent it back,. So they sent another one which was nice and new. I was happy, but then when I tried to activate the new phone the old phone was never switched out the system. So I was stuck with two phones I couldn't use. Because the activated the first phone they sent. Plus they made it hard to help me.Until God sent an angel to help me. Sherry was awesome she help me like no other. She gets 5* but not the whole team. Overall they did ok

The replacement phone arrived promptly. I was not aware that it would not be the "same" phone as what was damaged. They sent me an all black phone as mine was purple. Not happy that they didn't disclose that it would be a different color, or give me the option to wait until the color I wanted came in.
