“I gave 4 stars because owner does need to communicate with the customer more. My Samsung (65in) went out over a month ago. The sound played but picture would not show due to lightning; they advised it was the motherboard. The part was on back order, which was not conveyed to me in a timely manner. However, once the part came in, it was replaced and my tv works fine. They were very courteous. I would definitely use them again.”
“Had a LG fridge go out after 5 years. Just started not cooling or freezing. Called several recommended service companies after reaching out to LG. Tanstel answered right away and scheduled a service appointment the next day. The service technician (John) arrived on time and after looking at unit said he could fix it "now". The compressor had burned out, but was still under a 10 year warranty so the part didn't cost a thing. I was in shock that he had enough knowledge to anticipate the problem and arrive with the parts in his van. He was very professional and polite. Very knowledgable. Had the fridge up and running like new in a few hours with uploaded firmware and tested it out. It has been working beautifully for over a week. Super happy with Tanstel's service and John's work.
