Mack Aaron's Apple House is a family generational store with a pleasant, at-home feel. It is clean and packed with interesting items for sale, offering a lot to see with a very interesting inventory. The store takes you back in time with nostalgia decor. There is plenty of parking. The business is known for its outstanding service from friendly, kind, and helpful people. The owners are second generation, and the owner's wife is an amazing baker. They are accommodating, even staying open for late visitors. A major highlight is the incredible selection of fried pies, with over twenty choices including apple, coconut, blackberry, mango, spinach feta, and pecan. The pies are fresh, delicious, and a good bang for the buck at good prices. Other popular items include their amazing apple pies, yummy cider, fresh peaches and apples, boiled peanuts, seasoned cashews, and many treats and veggies. There is always something here that the kids will be interested in. It is a place with a lot to sample and well worth the trip.
I've been coming to Mack Aaron's for over 25 years and it's always been a pleasant at home feel when you walk in the door. We love stopping by for the fresh peaches and apples every late summer and fall. Don't skip out on the friend pies and boiled peanuts.
