89 Gudger St, EllijayMy little dog was suffering from what I thought was an eye infection, it was not. It turns out that it was two ulcers in her left eye. Ellijay Animal Hospital took her in and evaluated her in less than half hour after arriving. The facility was not equipped to handle these type of injuries. So, they found a hospital with an ophthalmologist, got an appointment on the same day. Unfortunately, for my pet she lost the eye but it could been worse. That type of condition can affect both eyes causing total blindness. With quick reaction of Ellijay Animal Hospital the surgeon was able to save the right eye. We are forever grateful to the staff and vet for their quick reaction. Thank you all.

89 Gudger St, EllijayDoc Redman impressed me with the confidence he has in his knowledge. Takes a lot of experience, to make a diagnosis with the degree of confidence he displays. He made his diagnosis with complete confidence...and I saw an improvement in our dogs condition within hours of leaving his office. Another thing I liked about this practice, it didn't cost an arm and a leg for the visit, which tells you the first priority of Doc Redman,...is the patient!

Reece’s Cider Company is a must-visit every time we’re in the Ellijay area. My wife and I have become such fans that we’ve built up a collection of their growler jugs and bring them back for refills whenever we’re in town.
The ciders are outstanding, but our absolute favorites are the Apple Pie, Frost Bite, and Thin Mint. Each one has its own unique flavor profile, and they never disappoint. It’s hard to leave without taking some home.
What really sets Reece’s apart, though, is the atmosphere. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seem happy to be there. The property is dog-friendly, the live music adds to the experience, and the overall vibe is relaxed and enjoyable. Whether you’re sitting outside with friends, bringing your dog along, enjoying a tasting, or just stopping by to grab a refill, it feels like a place where everyone is welcome.
What makes Reece’s a must-stop for us compared to other orchards in the area is the overall experience. (I know it's breakfast time but I've been craving a BLT lately). Sandwich was delicious and bacon was crispy and plentiful..will stop in again next time I'm in the area.

The venue is stunning, with breathtaking vineyard and mountain views that create an incredible backdrop for both photography and videography. Every space is thoughtfully designed, from the elegant reception area to the beautiful outdoor ceremony locations.
The staff was professional, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making the wedding day run smoothly. Their organization and attention to detail made our job effortless and allowed us to focus on capturing unforgettable moments.
We highly recommend Engelheim Vineyards to any couple looking for a beautiful wedding venue with an amazing team behind it. We look forward to filming and photographing many more weddings here!

5704 Clear Creek Rd, EllijayWhile visiting Ellijay, it came a huge downpour so we stopped by Cartecay Vineyards to sample some wine. What an awesome and quaint place. Loved the rustic setting and Felicia was so nice and helpful. After trying a flight, we also had a peach wine slushy. That was the best wine slushy I have ever had. We had to purchase some of the wine to take home to Tennessee and also bought the custest wind chime made out of a wine bottle. We can't wait to go back on a sunny day to sit outside and look and the gorgeous vineyards. Highly recommend! Thank you, Felicia, for brining a little sunshine into our rainy afternoon!

The Thai chicken was incredibly savory and delicious, the birria was hearty and packed with flavor, and the Vietnamese shrimp spring rolls were absolutely out of this world. Every dish exceeded my expectations. Thank you for an amazing meal and such a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

The okra, corn nuggets, tots and onion rings I tried as well, all were very delicious. On top of all that they have great prices and you walk away feeling satisfied and not feeling like you spent a bunch. A must stop!

They have a great veterinary team that provides all the vaccines and will de-flea and spay the dog on arrival to the shelter, so they’re ready to go home with you. They also have a great volunteer team that gets the dogs used to being around humans, playing in a yard, going on walks. So many loving fur-babies ready to be a part of your family.
