473 East Main Street, DahlonegaI had a wonderful experience bringing my dog here for grooming! She came back looking absolutely beautiful, and it was clear that everyone genuinely cared about her.
The only thing I questioned at first was the length of her nails because I honestly didn't know much about how short they should be. Instead of brushing off my concern, the owner took the time to look at my dog's nails with me and explained where the quick was and why they couldn't safely be trimmed any shorter. I really appreciated the patience and education—it helped me understand something I didn't know before and where I needed to better educate myself as a dog owner.
It's refreshing to find a business that not only does excellent work but also takes the time to educate and make customers feel comfortable. I'll definitely be bringing my dog back and highly recommend them!

We had some concerns with our kitty, Lucky and all the staff were kind, thorough, and gave her exceptional care. We had to put Lucky down and the whole process was made so easy and lovingly by everyone. We won’t use any other vet!

I have boarded my pets in several different kennels in the Dawsonville Cumming area and nothing compares to North Hall. Our French bulldog has anxiety and the owner held him most of the time to calm him. When I went to pick him up he ran to the owner. That shows true love and care. I would rate them 10 stars if that was available. This couple is amazing!!!!!!

350 GA-52, DahlonegaIt's definitely a gem! We love the dog bath IPA, bartenders are sweet and Dave the owner is nice. Definitely worth checking it out! However we just wish they had the fillable glass growlers like the other local breweries vs the cans. (Hopefully oneday) or maybe have the mini keg. Since we hike alot and pass through vlogging. But regardless the dog bath ipa and brewery is a must. Just needs to be colder.

The OverHang
1 Camp, Merrill Drive, DahlonegaI wanted to love it here so much. When we got there, we saw that the building the restaurant is normally in is currently being renovated. I found that out by going to their facebook page after we got home. Because of that, the restaurant is operating out of a little room off the Camp Merrill Gymnasium. The whole place is a little bigger than our living room.
There's only a few tables and chairs. There was only one employee, and he was just as nice as could be. He was the cook, the waiter, the cashier, everything. There were only 2 other people in there the whole time we were there.
The food itself was just okay. In their defense, I'm sure when the restaurant is operating in their normal building, with their normal equipment, everything will be better.
Since it's 9 miles down Camp Wahsega road, I thought I should let everyone know that it's being renovated before they make the long drive. We are going to try it again later in the year. I'm sure it will be better once the renovations are done, and I'll update my review then. 🍔🍟🍺

Canopy + the Roots Coffee
53 West Main Street, DahlonegaCanopy has such a unique atmosphere, aesthetic and quality that hasn’t been replicated by any other coffee shop or bakery in Dahlonega. The artificial tree branches/tree in the center is genuinely incredible. It’s so cool. It looks really good and the place would feel so empty without it. The roots (downstairs area) is also so cool. The decorations are flawless and help to create such an amazing vibe and atmosphere. The shows I’ve been to have also been really fun and chill, and the mocktails are fantastic. I personally have met some really cool people (both employees and regular customers) through canopy. If you need a place to chill for a bit it is definitely a great place to go.
Outside of visual aesthetics, Canopy also has really good food and coffee. They have a few local bakeries and people that they partner with (as well as local artists). The cinnamon rolls that they have right now are really good and so are the muffins. They have bagels and spreads that I am obsessed with and have deeply enjoyed. I, unfortunately, haven’t had the chance to try any of the cookies they are selling right now, but I trust that they are high quality and delicious. I normally order a chai latte, but I have also tried their blackberry mocha and a few other lattes, and no matter what I end up getting it is high quality and good. The blackberry mocha in particular is really good and I’d highly recommend it. Canopy has a wide variety of handcrafted syrups, a few of them are seasonal but I haven’t had any drink and syrup combination that I didn’t enjoy (although I usually just pair lavender with my chai).
The employees have always been super friendly to me and indulge my super silly conversations. Diana makes the best chai latte like literally no one does it better. Her outfits are also incredible, every day I am stunned by her style and fashion. James is genuinely hilarious and has never failed to make me smile if not laugh. I’ve started saying “later skaters” and caring about tanks. Even though I don’t typically come in when Ada is working, I can distinctly remember each time I have because she always manages to make my day a little brighter. Aubie is really cool and I hope we will interact more. Kaleb is super chill and he made me a very nice ice chai latte. I haven’t spoken that much with Hollie, but she did like my silly dance and was nice to me. Akeeme is one of the most kind and caring individuals I’ve ever interacted with. I can tell he cares deeply for Canopy and the people who work there, he also gives the best hugs. Apollo is the best Cafe manager to exist I think. She is dedicated, hardworking, and kind. Her soul is the only thing that is as beautiful as her mind, additionally her German is fantastic.
Overall Canopy is really great and one of my favorite places to be.

439 Vineyard Way, DahlonegaIt is a nice and quiet place, over looks their pond and vineyard. Nice atmosphere and good selection of wines. No super sweet wines but they have some sort of sweet wines. Small snack assortment as well. Would recommend for small date days.

Having our closest family and friends together the night before our wedding was so incredibly special, and 19 Degrees North provided the most wonderful setting for such a meaningful celebration.
We especially want to thank Jenn, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire planning process! She helped us coordinate every little detail and went above and beyond by setting up all of the decorations we had dropped off ahead of time. Seeing everything come together so beautifully was such a special moment, and Jenn truly helped bring our perfect vision to life!
We are beyond grateful to Jenn and the entire 19 Degrees North team for helping make our rehearsal dinner such an unforgettable evening. Lumpkin County Animal Shelter
1363 Red Oak Flats Rd, DahlonegaThe staff of the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter is caring and loving towards the animals that come through their doors. Some of the pets elderly and some arrive unhealthy, but the staff takes great care of them, gets them up to parr and then tries to find a home that will be a good match for animal. These people really care. They keep a clean facility and put all of their heart into the animals. Just wish the county would get them a larger space!
