Hemlock Animal Hospital
73 Maxwell Ln Suite B-2, DahlonegaI highly recommend Hemlock. Wonderful staff, super reasonable pricing, and lots of expertise. I brought my cat here for an establishment visit. The amount of quality time the technician and doctor spent with us was refreshing. We were not rushed through. Every employee was kind and down-to-earth
Many thanks to Crystal for her prompt responses to my initial email and for helping us in and out of the car.

VCA Dahlonega Animal Hospital
16 Westbrook Rd, DahlonegaMy pet Cairn Terrier was suffering from a bad skin allergy. She was up all night scratching and biting. MyVCA in Roswell, Pet’s are People Too, could not see her right away. I brought her into VCA Dahlonega, getting her in was no problem. She was seen by Dr.Helvie. He treated her for Priritus and he was terrific. His staff was great. The office followed up the next day to check on her condition. The staff really showed concern for the wellbeing of my dog. I would highly recommend them.

Accent Cellars
215 Auraria Rd, DahlonegaGo for the wine, not the views!! ?
My girlfriend and I made the trip up to Dahlonega after visiting Atlanta for a Braves game, looking to check out a few wineries. While researching, Accent Cellar popped up. The pictures didn’t immediately stand out, but the reviews, especially the ones mentioning Tyler, caught our attention. We also saw they offered a one-on-one tasting experience with him, where you can really learn about the wines and the passion behind them.
From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly welcoming, down to earth, and genuine. It felt less like a tasting and more like catching up with an old friend that’s had a passion for something you never even knew he had after not seeing him in years. There wasn’t a single awkward pause, just real conversation, constant engagement, and a clear love for what he and his team are building at Accent Cellar.
Tyler knows his craft, and he knows his wines are great, but there’s zero arrogance. He lets the product speak for itself, and it absolutely delivers.
So if you’re going to Dahlonega for wine, don’t just go for the views, go for the wine. Go see Accent Cellar, and definitely book a sit down with Tyler.
I promise, you won’t regret it!

Pharaoh's Feast
340 Walmart Way, DahlonegaThe food was some of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. I have a food already and the chef worked with me to prepare me a huge, beautiful plate of food. The server and chef were helpful and friendly, especially to an out of towner who didn't know how it worked.
I highly recommend checking this place out. Everything was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I am only in town four 4 days but I have every intention of making it back again before I leave.

Jethro’s Coffee & Public House
21 N Grove St Unit C and D, DahlonegaLook no more, this coffee spot is serving tasty coffee and delicious pastries that I would say is a must stop if you are in Dahlonega. I ordered a cup of black drip coffee and a croissant and both hit the spot! They use fantastic coffee and the baristas know exactly what they are doing! The drip coffee was probably the best I've had on my GA vacation so far and it was a bigger coffee shop than expected. The decor was very nice and the kids books were a plus for my 4 year old. Overall great experience and a must have for coffee lovers.

Shenanigans
87 N Chestatee St, DahlonegaVery enjoyable place to have a meal, the staff are nice and hard-working, and the food is always prepared very well and quickly. Everything we get is delicious, even if portions are about 5% smaller than I'd like for the prices. Other than that, it's a very unique place to eat and we have a great time. Selection for both food and beer is vast, and everyone's bound to find something they'll like. We'll be back!

Reens' Bratzeit & Biergarten
77 Memorial Dr # A, DahlonegaThe restaurant is very cute and a little neat bar. We went when it was cold outside, and we sat down the hallway where it was a bit cold. They did turn on the heat more so that was nice. The food was super yummy. I thought the beer, sausage, pretzel, and saurkraut were really good!

Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery
439 Vineyard Way, DahlonegaWe visited late on a Sunday 4pm. They close at 5 but we still got to enjoy a tasting. We really enjoyed the Cab Franc & the Cab Merlot blend. Very impressed that all grapes and wine are all from this vineyard as most in N GA source grapes from other regions. After visiting we agreed this is one of our top vineyard in Georgia. Service was great and even had the opportunity to meet with the owner/winemaker and listened to the passion she has for making excellent wines. Highly recommend!!

Picnic Cafe and Dessertery
30 Public Square S, DahlonegaWe were a group of 4. We all had different breakfast sandwiches. We were all happy with our food. Sausage egg cheese biscuit, turkey egg and cheese biscuit, bacon and egg on gluten free toast, and a sausage biscuit. Beverages were mocha latte (good), black coffee (good), Vietnamese coffee (thin), and I had water because the Vietnamese coffee was pre-mixed so I couldn't have a non dairy one. I also got some pastries to go the strawberry and cream cheese Danish was good, the peanut butter cookie was good, the lemon cookie and snickerdoodle cookie were average. Overall we all said we enjoyed the atmosphere, our server was great, we would return here if in the area again.

19 North Seafood and Grill
19 N Chestatee St, DahlonegaFive stars for 19 North Seafood and Grill! The service was impeccable. We dined on the day before Thanksgiving and enjoyed the wonderfully quiet atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond, making our visit easy even with a 2-month-old in tow. They gave great appetizer suggestions: the Pork Belly and the Elotes were phenomenal! For dinner, the Shrimp Scampi was flavor-packed and the Salmon was cooked perfectly. Great spot for high-quality food and outstanding service!

Lumpkin County Animal Shelter
1363 Red Oak Flats Rd, DahlonegaThe staff of the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter is caring and loving towards the animals that come through their doors. Some of the pets elderly and some arrive unhealthy, but the staff takes great care of them, gets them up to parr and then tries to find a home that will be a good match for animal. These people really care. They keep a clean facility and put all of their heart into the animals. Just wish the county would get them a larger space!
