I have boarded my pets in several different kennels in the Dawsonville Cumming area and nothing compares to North Hall. Our French bulldog has anxiety and the owner held him most of the time to calm him. When I went to pick him up he ran to the owner. That shows true love and care. I would rate them 10 stars if that was available. This couple is amazing!!!!!!

1 Camp, Merrill Dr, DahlonegaI wanted to love it here so much. When we got there, we saw that the building the restaurant is normally in is currently being renovated. I found that out by going to their facebook page after we got home. Because of that, the restaurant is operating out of a little room off the Camp Merrill Gymnasium. The whole place is a little bigger than our living room.
There's only a few tables and chairs. There was only one employee, and he was just as nice as could be. He was the cook, the waiter, the cashier, everything. There were only 2 other people in there the whole time we were there.
The food itself was just okay. In their defense, I'm sure when the restaurant is operating in their normal building, with their normal equipment, everything will be better.
Since it's 9 miles down Camp Wahsega road, I thought I should let everyone know that it's being renovated before they make the long drive. We are going to try it again later in the year. I'm sure it will be better once the renovations are done, and I'll update my review then. 🍔🍟🍺

Started with the crab cake, delicious and had a good amount of crab meat.
The blackened snapper was amazing and a great portion. Had the red and beans rice and maque choux on the side. Everything was just seasoned perfectly.
For dessert tried the dark chocolate beignet with a raspberry jam on top, that was incredible. The bread pudding was also great and a sizable portion as well.
The Resturant overall is super cozy and the balcony’s view overlooking the square is a great vibe.

19 N Chestatee St, DahlonegaWe brought our daughter visiting from Boston for lunch at our favorite restaurant in North Georgia, 19 North, and she agreed it was the BEST seafood she'd ever had -- and she had just had a meal before coming at Boston's famous Legal Seafood, one of her favorite restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always kind and attentive. Our food arrived perfectly cooked and served. The new chef, Orlando, came out to see how everything was, and cheers all around for him, as well as for our server, Harrison, who had a tricky job -- where we wanted to eat was filled with a group that had finished eating but were lingering, and lingering.... Harrison tended to us with drinks while we waited, and without pushing the other group, managed to get us to our table freshly cleaned and cheers all around. The mints on the way out are also delicious! Thanks to all at 19 North for another superlative meal -- we always feel welcomed and served as though we are family (though we don't have to wash the dishes).

Some of the pets elderly and some arrive unhealthy, but the staff takes great care of them, gets them up to parr and then tries to find a home that will be a good match for animal. These people really care. They keep a clean facility and put all of their heart into the animals. Just wish the county would get them a larger space!
